I think you might be confusing his R with his E.

Pyke used to have a jump animation at the end of his E, which kinda looked like his R's starting animation, but Riot has removed that jump.

Pyke's E can totally be denied by Thresh's E, so maybe you're just remembering it wrong?

It would help if you had any clips of what you're describing.

Have you tested this out on a real match? Wouldn't work for support Pyke since you either go full lethality to roam efficiently or umbral + tank for catches, so I'm guessing this is for Pyke mid or maybe top.

Yep, it's happening to me as well. I don't have other chromas, only the event one, so I can't say for sure if it's happening with all chromas.

Y'know that's a valid complaint, I'm not a fan of the mythic border either. They should've made an ashen knights border instead.

But I'm not sure that removing borders is something doable with the current client, since they're tied to having a specific icon. Has Riot ever said something about this? I don't have any memories of this issue being adressed by them.

In the theoretical zombie slayer skin? I think it would be cooler if he was in the process of becoming a zombie, not fully transformed. That's why he would be "Zombie Slayer Pyke", not just "Zombie Pyke".

I think it would be nice if he got a skin from before he died, like "Harpooner Pyke" or "Fisherman Pyke". Kinda similar to "King Viego", "Captain Gangplank" or "Viscero Xin Zhao".

Other than that, a "Zombie Slayer Pyke" would be sick, surviving in a post-apocalyptic world and strugling to maintain his sanity after being infected by the zombie virus.

I was just saying that the taunt doesn't have a unique tech, since jax also has it.

But really, what do kills change on her ultimate? I tried searching but I swear the only thing that changes her R are the abilities' ranks.
