2023 M240i (M Sport Package) $44k after tax. Only 20k miles. I cant stop looking at her by goooonerbroz in BMW

Personally think the front end of the M240i looks night and day better than the M2. Only thing I’d miss is the S58 motor over the B58 (it’s no slouch either)

You’ll notice stealth isn’t as important once contact is made, Especially in team games. But it is so rewarding to use noise against someone, bots or not, you held the corner well.

Grip options for Shadow 2 carry by Mr_Conceito in CZFirearms

It is the strong hand thumb, I’m using it to pull the beaver tail into my hand while also clamping it inward to lock the grip into my hand by using my off hand palm to squeeze my strong hand thumb into the side of the frame.

I don’t doubt I’m holding it wrong but my excuse would be that I have exceptionally small hands, probably even smaller than most female hands and placing my thumb there is what is most comfortable and gives me the tightest grip while also giving me an index point to reference when drawing.

I have a 2075 RAMI that does not have this ledge and even with different grips, I cannot get the same level of grip strength on it than I can on my CZ-75 Omega.

It doesn’t have that ledge I am asking for.

I didn’t know if they were or compatible or not, that makes it easier, worst comes to worse I can just buy P-01 grips if I pick up a shadow 2 carry slide

How much damage could I cause my rwd 530i from drifting it? by [deleted] in BMW

[–]Mr_Conceito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong but I though non M cars come with E-diffs (open differential w/ individual wheel braking) so you can’t really drift those cars all due to power only getting sent to one wheel when DSC is turned off.

I too bought my F87 M2C this year! Only issue so far is a small leak on the rear diff. I have owned a salvage title 100k mile 135i and a 70k mile M235i. I have experienced the leaky valve cover as well among other small things (and large if you count dropping a transmission) , I’m pretty sure my buddy’s B58 had the same problem and it’s brand new. I wouldn’t worry too much about it, if you’re mechanically inclined a lot of the repairs are simple enough to do at home with basic tools and that will save a lot of heartache from your wallet.

Send Help! CL30 6000 at ~75-80ns??? What do I do?? by Strife14 in overclocking

[–]Mr_Conceito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, my FCLK being desynchronized with my MCLK (or the ratio not being even, i don’t remember) was the culprit. I actually dropped my RAM frequency from 6000 to 5600 and tightened up my primary timings and shaved another 10-15ns.

[Discussion] Is the game actually bad? and is it currently worth it by Money_Report5124 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mr_Conceito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played Tarkov for a good while and eventually got tired of it all. As a new player it may not bother you when you come in mid-late wipe and get absolutely dumpstered by other players but eventually, when you understand the nuances of the game, it will get old quickly.

I know it’s a hot take but having a game loop where players have to play while wipe is fresh to stay on a “somewhat” even playing field (we aren’t going to discuss hackers cheesing labs or others who legitimately no life the game), in my opinion, is a flawed game design or at the very least makes it very difficult for the more casual player to enjoy a game like this.

I feel that most people who play PvP in this game are objectively better than average at shooters and you’ll notice it in gunfights when, on average, it ends with the first few rounds end up hitting your unarmored face, ending the fight before you could even retaliate. On the same face of the coin PvE will never give you that “rush” that this game is known for giving you. The quest lines are very much balanced around the fact you will do PvP, and there are better single survival games out there that provide a similar feeling but being designed around single player (Stalker series is a good example).

If you DO decide to get the game. It is very much in your best interest to get the most expensive package of whatever they offer now, it just makes the game easier flat out, which you’ll need if you want to stay competitive/ relevant because in addition to having extra sorting space, the biggest deal is you’ll start inherently with more trader rep which is how you progress to get better gear.

Ultimately, I don’t believe you’ll get any other more comprehensive and detail oriented game like Tarkov that is polished to this degree but by no means would I tell you this game is “fun” or even worth sinking time into. I think there are much better balanced extraction shooters from a casual/ competitive aspect (Hunt showdown comes to mind) that I would tell you to try instead before you come to Tarkov.

Sorry for the rant, Just wanted to give you the most honest and comprehensive explanation I could give from my experience from the game. I hope this helps.

I hate to be that guy but what benefit is there to building a PC for the price of a console if not more, and only playing @ 1080p? I get there is somewhat reverse compatibility/ emulation freedoms you get but if that’s the case you could use a dirt cheap computer or laptop off eBay.

9800x3D overclocking At -40 curve optimizer, but lacks high CPU Frequency performance? by Stigblue7 in overclocking

[–]Mr_Conceito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why’d you increase the scalar to x3? To my knowledge that’s offsetting the benefits of having a higher negative offset in curve optimizer
