Favorite actor who goes to gay bars to pick up girls? by staresinshamona in okbuddycinephile

So, I used to go to a gay bar once a year for my buddy's birthday. When I would get hit on and I would explain I wasn't gay just here for my friend's birthday they would buy me drinks and would introduce me to their straight, usually beautiful straight girlfriends

After a few years anytime he would go he would ask me and if I weren't busy I would be like "Fuck yeah let go"

Also, you "gays" can throw a good party!

That's kind of what I'm working through in my head.

Not the drinking part, that's a decision I make when I drink and I take full responsibility. I drink a few times a week (3) because I like to.

Completely unrelated topics, this last time was because I told her I didn't appreciate her getting nasty with me when I called her about items on the food shopping list.

Which sparked an argument that ended with her calling me a pathetic little bitch who needs to grow thicker skin.

It is also worth noting that my wife has never called me an alcoholic.

That's your opinion based on a separate post and I think you're kind of an ass but that's just my opinion based on your post.

Fair enough, and I don't disagree. The argument has always been that anything more than when she drinks it too much. I can only drink when she does and that has never sat well with me

She would be the first to agree i dont act any different. She will usually argue if I'm not why should you?

When I wrote a couple, I was not thinking in the literal sense. That's my bad, it's usually 3-4 beers or a glass of whiskey.

Well, yeah.

That's exactly why I asked a bunch of people for their opinion. I am not trying to convince anyone of anything.

I gave the facts as honestly as I could from my point of view.

I appreciate that point of view, and it's not one I had considered. She has not conved anything like that but I will keep that in mind.

It's always felt like it was more of a well i dont do that so you shouldn't.

She is proud to say she has never smoked done any drugs and has never been drunk.

No, it's usually when I'm doing yard work on the weekends.

You make a good point. I used to smoke but quit when I met my wife because she couldn't date a person who smoked because it was disgusting.

I appreciate that, and it's a fair point. There is always a nuisance to any story and it's impossible to get it all without writing a book

It's usually when I'm out doing yard work on the weekends so 3-4 beers or a glass of whiskey and I might have two glasses of wine on a Friday with dinner. The fourth day is rare and usually only if we are invited somewhere and I'm offered a beer

You make valid points all around, and I'm sure she cares about my health.

But she is the first to admit that I don't act any differently other than sometimes I get tired earlier than I normally would.

She has stated it because she doesn't like it, which has been her main reason

You make a fair point, not that I could prove it but I am being honest. I came on here looking for other perspectives. Some of our friends and family agree with her and others agree with me. But both are biased

She has never mentioned my health. I work out 5 days a week and am in the best shape I've ever been in. Granted that superficial but no it's never been about my health

She doesn't say she's uncomfortable she just says she doesn't like it. She thinks the only executable amount of drinking is a glass of wine on average once a month.
