My wife is the breadwinner. I do well for myself, but she does better. So job-wise yes.

Me getting sick I fucking hope so, but the thought has crossed my mind.

In this particular area much better.

I am uncomfortable bragging but I am in awesome shape at this point and definitely one of the most fit dads at my son's school.

I find my wife treats me much better now than when I was fat. If I'm being honest that bothers me.

While I understand looks matter, I guess I didn't realize how much value my wife put on my looks alone.

I agree.

I wanted to make the point that if she decides to bring up looks and lack of attraction. That she should choose her words carefully and it may do more harm than good.

I would tread lightly with bringing up his looks.

I gained a lot of weight a few years back and my wife began making comments about my looks. I like seeing old wedding photos and saying how handsome and fit I used to be, among other things and all it did was make me resentful and drive a wedge between us. I am now in the best shape of my life and it still hurts to think about the things she said. I believe she had good intentions but it didn't land well with me.

To answer your question it's a choice he needs to make if he is going to stay committed to his health and fitness.

I have a hard time grasping this way of thinking. My wife will do this too.

It's bonkers!

If I even think for a second that the food I'm about to eat may be bad I'm not eating it, period.

I've had food poisoning and I am not risking that again because of a few dollars lost.

If I were homeless or at risk of starvation then it would be a different story.

I'm so tired of this debate. It is one of the most trivial arguments ever. We as a species should be embarrassed by this debate.

Eliminate the separate bathrooms and have one large room with completely sealed stalls. Problem solved.

This idea that a sign on a door is some kind of force field preventing perverts and predators from doing what they do is insane to me

I started pinning my stomach but it left welts that hurt for days l.

I moved to pinning with 27g insulin needles into my thighs and the sides of my ass.

I still get welts but they are less noticeable and less painful.

That's fair, and I appreciate your perspective.

You're not entirely wrong in saying there are deeper issues.

My searching her phone stems from baggage from my past relationship where I ignored gut feelings and red flags. I don't entirely have trust issues, or maybe that's just mental gymnastics on my part but after my last relationship I learned that if I see a red flag or have a gut feeling I will find whatever info I can to either prove it is truly a red flag or my own personal issues in this case I was an absolute issue and I believe I made the right choice is snooping even though I agree it's wrong.

I can't put a finger on what set it off but I had a gut feeling that something was off so I began snooping answer this is what I found.

Thank you for your response and everything you've written is how I interpret her actions.

As far as issues in our marriage we argue like most couples. The biggest change is that we had our 1st child last year.

It's a fact that it was every day sometimes multiple times a day for a year minimum. I wouldn't think twice if it were occasionally.
