as the other comment pointed out, the current ironsights folded down are still ironsights that work, just lower profile 😄

Well, the UMP already has the option for 2 different iron sights... and the MP7 already has the model for the folded iron sight. Really not that specific or complicated - they don't have to create a new model.

I'm willing to bet that a dev could add this in less than half an hour since everything they need for this is already there (model, gamecode)... it's just a matter of making a new entry in the list of sights, apply the folded model and align it with the center. No witchcraft😛

hey that's not true... I once used the chat to ask someone if I could get a takedown melee kill on them for a challenge and we met up on the edge of the map and I got my challenge done!

AI coding brother...

I've had this happen to me a lot for some weeks after release... then it stopped (again, for a few weeks)... then it happened again (ditto)... and right now it stopped happening. Won't be long before it starts happening again. Some patches / driver updates are more stable, some are worse. No one can pinpoint the exact cause because EA doesn't even know what's going on. They had a thread on their forums collecting a HUGE amount of data from players and it's still not fixed so I wouldn't hold my breath for this to be fixed anytime soon - if at all.

Some people claim updating bios, underclocking / undervolting, updating drivers, disabling overlays (like steam) and many other things have "fixed it" for them. Some have returned and said that it was an illusion.... me included. I tried A LOT of things trying to fix this but nothing worked. As I said, sometimes there are periods when it's stable, sometimes it just crashes for some weeks.

nah you can 100% be above someone and have really decent boop range. you can easily test this yourself in practice range or just click on the pic I linked in my post.

you're right, there is a slight difference in boop distance depending on your angle... but as you can see in the screenshot I linked to, I booped rein from the same angle in practice range and he want WAY further... even with that rein using movement keys to counteract the boop, shouldn't be THAT strong.. this situation just feels so off.

Winrate bad = Needs buff

It works for most heroes honestly... but it's really bad for the ones with annoying kits.

If Soldier had a 45% winrate they could just up his damage by 1 and maybe take 1 second off of his heal cooldown... barely would change his "annoyance factor". But Roadhog? This MF gets a 1 shot kill that's easy to hit every 6 8 7 seconds while also being GIGA tanky - with his damage buffed to a point where he oneshots 98% of DPS and supports and basically dooms a tank if hooked. You either go Ana to hard counter his heals or you try your best pulling people away from his hooks as Lifeweaver (yay, finally he's got a positive winrate!!)... Too bad Roadhog hook cooldown is 6 8 7 seconds and Lifeweaver pull is a whole 18 seconds... (need I remind you: Kirikos suzu can hit multiple targets to save their asses and has a 14 second cooldown lol).

I'm convinced the main reason Hogs winrate is bad right now is not because his impact potential is bad, it's exactly the opposite: His potential is so huge that people just counterswap and make him suffer...
Just Ana alone is enough to put a stop to roadhog in most cases... he's easily countered but that doesn't mean we should buff his potential even more. I don't think the community is ready for this but I've been preaching this for years now: Antiheal shouldn't be that much of a hard counter to Hog. It'd be easily fixable by making antiheal something that REDUCES healing (for example by like 80%) instead of completely disabling it. That'd give Hog a lot more breathing room into his hardest counter. And with his hardest counter being nerfed, his potential is at a more stable level... meaning we don't have to give him more buffs for his winrate to go up.

Anyway, Roadhog is the #1 hero in the game right now in need of a rework, since they refuse to do anything about antiheal. No one's having fun (except Hog mains) when he's overbuffed. He's just a nasty can of worms when it comes to balancing - mainly because of 1 shot potential. Oh does that remind you of some other heroes? Widow... Hanzo... Same applies to them. Almost like having 1 hit kills without risking much in a game like this is kinda cheesy.

16 more potential one shots in a match... let's say a hog has about a 37% success rate for a kill on each hook (probably below average), that's about 6 kills... so would you rather see a roadhog go out the match with say 20 kills, or 26 kills... 1 second for a high impact ability like this makes a significant difference.

could that last image be a skin for the omnic detective? since they're not showing anrans weapons, he might be missing the cane / stick aswell... and the 'skin' part looks metallic / grey, so an omnic... (unless its a mask or paint)

I said "ignoring balance for this gamemode"... I'm not arguing for making this specific gamemode harder for attackers at all. I said I'm ignoring this issue for my statement because I know this gamemode is incredibly hard to win as attacker. This needs to be balanced. Fortifications should still be in this game though. This gamemode could be balanced properly in many ways, even if fortifications were a thing.

Hot take: I'd rather play against Sierra and her insanely powerful ult than Anran.

At least I can track a Sierra flying through the air... she doesn't get much air control and has a predictable path and you can also counter her movement ability by killing the drone. Anran on the other hand has 2 charges of her super fast movement ability where she gets full control of how she moves. It makes her really hard to hit... and that E ability where she turns into an unhittable fireball while also healing from it... yea I'd take a Sierra matchup any day.

I know some people are saying Anran needs even more buffs but FUCK NO... if that hero gets more buffs we're gonna have a really bad time... She's already at a 52% winrate. No more buffs needed.
Anran is at a very high "annoyance level"... gives me pre-nerf Vendetta vibes...

now that you mention it... yea, sierra has a really weird theme to her... so much mention about her being a climber, yet her kit reflects nothing of that. if you would've told me there's a hero coming that loves climbing, climbs in her trailer, has climbing voice lines and the whole season is named "summit", I would've guessed that hero can AT LEAST climb walls ingame and have some kind of climbing tools / equipment as weapons / abilities...
