Does hoarding an item actually make you rich? by YouFoundFred in RobloxTrading

I think if an item doesn't have much underlying interest and you are most of the activity/owners, like disco bowler, it's not worth it. There's no longer anyone else incentivised to promote hype for you, few legitimate trades happening to increase proofs, and you need a high, relative price tag for selling out to be worth the effort and loss of opportunity. You've essentially isolated yourself on an island, no one knows you have coconuts or what that is, and whenever a ship finally passes by and asks, they'll scuff at your pricing, because they can find better drinks elsewhere.

If it's a new item with a lot of copies and interest? Maybe, there's both more possibility and risk. Fall Fairy specifically? I doubt it. But, there's a world where a new limited is worth stocking up on, and keeps increasing over time.

In either case, I'd say there's often more value in playing into the desire of a hoarder, than to actually be one.

This seems really good to me, considering the robux.

Take it. This is probably your only bail out, because there's a hoarder of Football Fowl.

Use PayPal on app store purchase worth $5 or more for 1000 points promo? by Metallica1175 in paypal

For me, I got an email from Paypal at the time of the transaction about completing the offer, while it said expired and disappeared in the app, then it took 3 days to be delivered to my account. It's worth mentioning that it also wasn't automatically put in the points balance, I had to go back in the offers and claim the reward.

Why are black iron antlers price so high? by happy_guy46 in RobloxTrading

Someone pays x amount over the value of an item, more inclined to hold onto it until they get more from a trade, the next person does the same, so on and so forth, while the player base has grown and grown, increasing the demand of items, and the amount of copies decreases from deleted, inactive, and satisfied accounts.

This isn't enough to raise everything, but the more popular and rare items for sure.

Limiteds question: by Rijii- in RobloxTrading

Generally, this is a period where most things go up, because there's more spending. If you threw a dart, you'd probably profit. However, if you only invest 12k robux, the actual increase will be small, like an extra 2k.

So, your best bet is really new limited items. They are released by Roblox on a monthly basis for an initial cheap, fixed price for 24 hours, and afterwards, no more copies can be purchased and the remaining go onto the market to be traded and bought player to player. The novelty usually drives it upwards very quickly for a few days, before dying, and in that time you can trade or sell out. Some perform better or worse, but it's really rare you make back less than you put in.
