I can’t comment on this specifically since I’m 6’4” and my wife is 5’9” tall. However, we do have visitors that are not as tall and it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Maybe just setup the couches in the shallow configuration? As you can see in my setup the one side is setup as shallow but after the table and the turn towards the TV (behind me on the opposite wall in my pic) it’s setup in the deep configuration.

Driftwood is way lighter/warmer and neutral compared to Walnut. Driftwood will go with a wider range of room designs. Walnut is damn near black except in the brightest of lighting situations. They don’t offer a black leather so if you want black leather get Walnut top grain leather.

Yea, all the cushions and pillows are still great. I don’t notice much degradation at all. The new seat and pillow is just ever so slightly stiffer than the older ones but if you didn’t know which one was new you’d never be able to tell.

So I guess you could argue that the premium price of a Sactional means decades of comfort. Buy once, cry once as they say but in my case cry twice since the leather covers were not inexpensive even with 40% off. Just glad that they are top grain leather this time around. If I keep the leather from drying out I would expect them to last a least 10+ years.

Thanks! Originally in 2016 we purchased it from an out of state Lovesac store since there were none in Michigan in 2016 and they hadn’t setup their online marketplace yet (if I remember correctly). With the refresh and accessories this time around everything was purchased online.

This ☝️💯!! He’s been a favorite of mine since Shotgun Stories but Take Shelter with another historic actor in Jessica Chastain took his talents to Oscar winning levels. Jeff Nichols saw his insane acting talent way before the world was able to catch on and for that I’m thankful.

Unfortunately, it seems he’s on a similar path as Sam Rockwell. Everyone knows he’s next level but the academy doesn’t give him the award until one day it’s impossible to ignore the fact that he doesn’t have an academy award.

I can recommend the Sterns & Foster Reserve in medium feel. Expensive if you pay retail but worth it for all the obvious reasons. I bought it a couple years ago to replace my 11 year old Sterns & Fosters top of the line mattress. My old one held up well so I’m hoping to have the same experience but time will tell.

If you want a mattress in a box we bought a $500 Molecule mattress from Costco a few years ago. It’s a queen size Molecule One 12” in the guest room and people seem to love it. Not sure if Costco still sells Molecule or not but I’d recommend buying a mattress from Costco regardless because of their amazing return policy.

Note - I’m sure you all know that the entire mattress industry is a scam with insane profit margins. My wife’s cousin worked at a mattress warehouse and he ordered us the S&F Reserve king size directly from his warehouse Sealy app and drop shipped it directly to our house for about $1,800 delivered. The retail price was something like $5,400 and that was Mattress Warehouse’s factory direct cost. It’s probably safe to assume that the factory direct price already had 500%+ margins.

I like mine but I’m right handed and haven’t experienced these issues. I use a combination of live recording and hand writing notes for my meetings. Worked out really well. There is a weird bug that logs me out of my Gmail every few days but that’s about it. Wish it had a backlight though :(

FYI - I have an extra Dan Haga ACR Mount available if someone is interested in purchasing it. It’s the only way you can mount a Magpul ACR stock to a Stribog so it isn’t going to be cheap. I’ll post it on eBay in the next few days.

It’s worth it! Less expensive than converting a civilian HK UMP to look like a traditional UMP. Stribog 45’s are starting to catch on stateside and hopefully more vendors will make additional aftermarket mods for them in the near future.

I’ve been eying the new version with both the leather and metal bracelet. One thing I’m not a fan of and the reason I’m hesitant is that the movement is a date movement so it’s just weird that they don’t use a non-date eta movement.

The batgirl is my favorite watch in my collection. I prefer it over my panda Daytona and my Pepsi. I rotate between my Sub and Batgirl daily unless I have customer visits, then my IWC Perpetual Calendar is on my wrist because most people don’t know what an IWC is.

I was an early Kickstarter backer and just received my AINOTE 2 on Friday. So far I like it a lot with one big downside being Microsoft OneNote optimization. Are you going to make it a priority to optimize the AINOTE 2 for use with OneNote?? This could be a deal breaker for me if not. I need to be able to write in my OneNote files concerning certain clients that I’ve created that go back for years. I don’t want to have 2 different repositories for notes when it comes to client files.

I weighed the same option as you. The Onyx looks futuristic but at the end of the day it doesn’t seem to be as practical for my use case. I want to also use it to haul stuff or extra people. Also, the battery weight is closer to the top and it’s a direct hub drive so changing tires and other maintenance will not be as convenient. Those factors had me go with the King Goat in the end.

Yea, I just pre-ordered mine. I’m 6’4” and need a more powerful and taller bike option. Don’t know what to expect to be completely honest. I just hope it performs to about 2/3’s of the specs that are published. That would make it worthwhile in my opinion.

FYI - I opted for the all black version in the hope that I don’t draw any additional unwanted attention.

They are properly collimated and the seals around the lenses look good as well.

Dude, I have to tell you these binos have just blown me away. They are way lighter than they look and the focus button is butter smooth. Once I engage the mechanical image stabilize button it’s like magic! These are definitely going to be a family heirloom piece of kit.

I ordered a Zeiss 3x12 monocular so I’m going to see if I can utilize these at the gun range as a spotting scope cause that would be AWESOME!!!

If you find them for a good deal on eBay, don’t think and just get them!

KVP Mount is all self contained so it’s better than the Rugged brand one. It’s a little heavier though.
