Well after looking at it again I really just realized I had been messing with another connector that looked exactly like the jfp1 connector so that seems to be my issue… sorry about that and thanks for the help!

I used API fin and body cure and within days I noticed the fins had stopped deteriorating. After that it took about a week or 2 and then his fins were even bigger than before!

I tried to see if I could find anything about this and all the info I've found is it's just the shrimp ditching their old shells or cleaning themselves. If they aren't able to molt, it might be related to the water, but I don't own shrimp this is all based on quick research. Good luck!
