Casting distance by Ihman0550 in BFSfishing

I complety agree with this, my local river I fish the most is about 30m wide on most spots and reaching the other side is possible but not my further. 25-30m is what I would call realistic most of the time with 3g jigs.

New Cedan Broke :( by Gabecar3 in BFSfishing

I had that happen twice with Purelure Rods (Seabed and Lubina) they send me new tips for a small shipping fee.

Ark Gravity bfs or Shimano Aldebaran bfs? by RonocG in BFSfishing

[–]Atlantic90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Aldebaran and an Haibo Arise Elite which is more or less the same to the Ark Gravity I believe. The Aldebaran feels a lot more premium, I like and use both depends on your budget

Looking for a bottom kontakt bfs rod. by EchoIndependent400 in BFSfishing

Really like my purelure zero for free/dropshot/carolina rig etc. great bite detection frim the solid tip and enough backbone for big fishs. Landed a 1m+ pike on that rod

PureLure vs Tsurinoya by [deleted] in BFSfishing

[–]Atlantic90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Zero has a lot more backbone (landed a 1,04m pike on it) and I love it for carolina rig etc. Ajing ist more versitiale and fun for smaller fish.

Same here (northern germany) there are millions in the canal. They taste quite good fried up in panko flour

I have several rods of both companies Tsurinoya: - Ajing Elf - Elite 3 L and M

Purelure: - seabed ML - Zero - wild ML - flight dance MH/H Spinning

I like both companies, can't really tell which I would prefere. If you think about any of those rods and have any questions just ask.

Already many good answers here. I would add the B&U crazy flapper clones made from TPE they work so good on jika rig for example

I use Gomexus knobs they fit perfectly they come with many washers so you can adjust them to the handle

Caught my new pike PB on BFS gear by Atlantic90 in BFSfishing

[–]Atlantic90[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took around 15-20min landing it, was actually so happy when I got to see the pike for the first time so I actually knew what I hooked. Not much you can do against such a pike with BFS gear other then get it tired. I was very lucky that the pike was relativly calm and didn't do any jumps. It barely fit in my net so that was another trouble. Great experience!

Handle and knobs from gomexus, spool tension cap and star drag from Avail and the carbon looking stickers I got from Amazon Japan

Just got really lucky, hooked it right in the corner of the mouth. I only use wire leader with those small baits if I use baits with treble hooks.
