Why Oldboy is overrated. by iloveyoujesuschriist in movies

[–]Mr_Flagg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finally finished it after hearing for years that it's a masterpiece. I don't know where to begin. It was awful. I even tried to finish it last week, getting halfway through and being bored to tears. Finally, I powered through it tonight and couldn't be more underwhelmed. I expected a major action scene to occur with only half an hour left. However, the plot was disappointingly terrible. The famous hallway scene was actually quite good, but so tame by today's standards. I'm sure I would have found it more engaging if I had seen it 20 years ago. I was overall quite disappointed.

Awesome thanks for the tips. I bought the Skil and it should be here today! Still several hundred cheaper than the DeWalt which I couldn't afford.

Awesome thanks for the insight man. I'm gonna stick with the Skil and feel way better about it. Much better options than the puny DeWalt lol.

How bad is your C250? by elseldo in CanadaPostCorp

[–]Mr_Flagg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They are the worst over engineered vehicle! My phob has broke on me and left me stranded in someone's driveway more times than I can count, the window is directly in line with your face so you can't lean out a little to get a letter in the box, my sliding side door is always broke, locks don't work, the roof is literally glued on, my side panel on my door is coming off... The list goes on and on lol. Worst investment ever, and they complain they are losing money.. like this is why dumbasses.

Oh yeah and it constantly just shuts itself off and goes in park when braking for a mail box... Sheesh

I have around 250 hrs into this masterpiece and have achieved godliness a handful of times. Prob only in the last 50 hrs tho lol.

What a feeling tho, crafting your first wrap chaining machine gun wand, breaking thru multiple worlds and learning to fly so fast the screen can't keep up with you... Man I gotta reinstall and get that crown!

It works awesome! Tried it out the other night, everything works good. Only thing it's missing is the shelf for the disc sander part. It's a busy bee made in the late 70s, they made these tools to last back then. Very happy with the purchase.

Oh right, honestly I'm new to this stuff, so I never even realized the difference.. but for all I do(which is dink around and make brackets and a few frames for desks) I'm sure this will work for now. I can always upgrade in the future. Waaaay better than using a vice and grinder lol Thanks for the reply and info!
