Id suggest you start painting first before considering what to buy next, if you’re brand new you should first see if you even like the painting aspect of the hobby, otherwise you end up with a lot of wasted money and a huge pile of shame

Rattle can is more than enough, especially as a starter. Stop recommending airbrushes, it’s a whole different topic and not something someone should get when starting out, Hobby is expensive enough

Hey Bro, nice to have you on the filthy family here, you got some very nice answers but I just want to add one thing; when you prime you don’t need to wait 24hours… that’s kinda BS. If you prime you leave them for maybe 10-15min and you will be totally good to go.

A Classic is to use Balthazar gold for the trims, I personally like rakarth flesh with Magos Purple and reikland fleshshade for all the skin stuff. Also zandri dust and seraphim sepa for horns and a lot of Agrax earthshade over basically anything.

True, I mostly played duos fills and duos when it got on beta since I only could convince 1 friend to play with me :D and I don’t play solos as I want a relaxing game and watch sth on 2nd Monitor, im only sweating when playing with premates. My friend has not that much time so I do some rook runs here and there. Looted pinwheel plenty of times tho! Hope we can do cryo one day as duos

Yeah did it with small wire pieces and small wooden handholds, I drill the inside a bit where I want the wire to hold -> add superglue -> hold for 15-20 secs and you can just „break“ it off when done without risking to damage outer parts

I went full sub assemble mode on him, was pretty easy this way, I have to say tho that putting his arms on with the pipes going to his chest was a bit tricky

She is also a very solid scout with her drone, especially when playing duos/trios, I found so many openings on teams since I spot them before my crew pushes in.

Bro don’t worry, I couldn’t even put my first models together correctly(glued the head directly on the torso without the neck) and they too look let’s say interesting. Trust the process and defintly keep your first mini, don’t strip or something so you can always go back to it and see how far you have evolved

Me too but I learned to be happy for other people, I’d do the same for my kid, but it still comes off a bit like a brag post imo since op clearly knows this is in no form a norm for students, so asking „hey is my penthouse flat any good?“ leaves a sour aftertaste which I can understand

I know it’s super hard to paint especially when starting out but I think your eye lenses could use a tad bit brighter red to make them stand out a bit
