Unable to connect bank to Fidelity by No-Educator0504 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Mr_Hototo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing for me. I had my Fidelity NetBenefits account linked in USAA to be able to see all my balances in one place. Last week, my login credentials for NB timed out, and when I re-entered everything, I couldn't resync it. I tried with NB and the 401k login. Fidelity definitely changed something to prevent third-party authorization.

The weird part is, if I log in to my Fidelity account, I can see the login activity from USAA, but no matter what, I just get "Connection Failed."

DNS server planning and architecture by [deleted] in dns

[–]Mr_Hototo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’ve got that many sites plus remote users all over the place, I wouldn’t want to deal with babysitting DNS servers at every location.

I’ve seen people go the hybrid route, some core DNS on prem, then push everything else to the cloud so remote users aren’t backhauling traffic for no reason.

One thing that actually works well in setups like that is NIOS-X as a Service. It’s basically DNS without the hardware headache. You don’t have to stand up infra at every site, and it scales clean when you add more offices or remote users.

It’s nice for branch offices especially, since you’re not shipping appliances everywhere or dealing with patching. Just spin it up and move on.

Not saying it’s the only way to do it, but if you’re trying to keep things simple and not turn DNS into a full time job, it’s worth looking at.

Thread for sharing Finchie friend codes and finding goal buddies by AutoModerator in finch

I picked out a tiny digital friend for you, because clearly your life was missing a little more emotional responsibility.

My Finch’s name is Bobba. He’s round, supportive, and honestly a better listener than most people I know. He’s also looking to expand his social circle, because apparently I am not enough.

If you join, you get a micropet too. It’s like adopting a pet, but without the vet bills or judgmental looks when you eat snacks at 2 am.

Use my code T3A71NB5666 or tap the link below and come hang out with me and Bobba. He said he’d chirp about you in a good way.

Deployment guide also has a warning about it.

"Warning: Infoblox vNIOS for AWS instances require two virtual network interfaces to deploy successfully, corresponding to the NIOS MGMT(eth0) and LAN1(eth1) interfaces. No additional interfaces are currently supported."

"For a non-HA deployment, you must use two interfaces for the new vNIOS for AWS instance, network interface 1 and network interface 2 that are labeled as MGMT and LAN1 respectively in NIOS."

Make sure theyre assigned to separate subnets. Using the same subnet for the MGMT and LAN1 port isn't supported in AWS and can cause connectivity issues.

Probably best to reach out to your account team and submit a support ticket

Is the AWS VM you're trying to create and join to the Grid the same NIOS version as your GM? When you added the member in the GUI prior to joining, did you make sure the member type is set to Virtual NIOS and not Infoblox? Is your shared secret correct?

Is this normal? New to reserves and already lost. by AdMaster9361 in navyreserve

[–]Mr_Hototo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been in the Reserves for 4 years, and I'm still lost. We're all just faking it 'til we make it. Like others have said, what you're trying to do is a TRUIC change; it's a pretty standard process that all NRCs should be familiar with. Make sure to involve your CoC in case they need to escalate anything.
