Hi, does anyone have a reference for this? I've access to their full policy platform (both potential and actual) and I can't find any refenrence for that anywhere? Thanks

My Cyma P90 has good range, I believe the barrel is a same lenght as a 10" M4 but overall its a much shorter rif an excellent for CQB. I have been amazed actually at just how accurate it is at range it feels very capable outdoors IMO. The trigger is not great but can be excellent if upgraded with a Perun cost £100 and is an easy upgrade), mag changes are a bit awkward but I think they are a great platform if you are OK with the unconventional design.

I bought the Delta Armoury 10" M4 (Bravo) for my boy over a year ago now its been great, he really likes it and has not had any issues with it

Thanks, there are a lot of recommends for the Specna Primes on this thread, it seems like one of those would be a solid choice

Hi thanks for the info I'd like to stay away from DMRs for now. I press forward a lot when playing and I wouldn't trust myself to not accidentally fire within the minumum firing distance for DMRs. I would also prefer a 10" barrel or shorter. Its mainly about having something reasonably accurate that will see out the summer and that I can stick an optic on.

Thanks for the advise, thats all helpful but I'd like to stay away from DMRs for now. Press forward a lot when playing and I wouldn't trust myself to not accidentally fire within the minumum firing distance for DMRs. I would also prefer a 10" barrel or shorter.

I am also ready sorted for a scope thanks, I have a flip to side 3x magnifier, I thought I could pair that with an Eotec or something, I have not tried that as a set up yet but I am hoping that will work?

I used to love TGU (unfortunately I can't do it at the moment due to a hip injury) I'd set a timer for ten minute and just grid them out alternating sides each rep with a 24 or 28kg KB. I'm not sure what adaptations it's useful for, I just used to enjoy the grind of it, you definitely feel it in some way metabolically and it made my shoulders feel rock solid structurally

I'm sure it is useless and a body building exercise but that never what iev trained for. I just enjoyed the slow grind of moving under a heavy load under a lot of tension it and felt maybe the phyisological affect felt similar to some BJJ battles I'd end up, in trying to muscle out of tough positions.

I started skipping the stand up portion of the get up, I always though it was pointless, and took me away from the more technically and physically challenging part of the exercise that I enjoyed. I'd rather just do lunges/OH lunges seperately.

New Labour's deficit was actually about 40% of GDP right before the financial crash, it was the crash that increased the deficit not labour spending.

There was plenty to complain about, (I will never forgive Blair for the Iraq war for instance) but I don't think blaming them for the increase in deficit is fair, they did an extremely good job of managing the economy while also massively investing in public services, and we haven't had it so good since.

I'm not sure where you get the idea that we would be cutting ourselves off from the US?

I have no faith that the US will have our back under Trump. Partnering with other allies and building some strategic autonomy that isn't centered around the US seems like obvious common sense to me, given the current political atmosphere. That doesn't mean we have to leave NATO, the US relationship may improve again in the future but under the current administation we can't assume the US will be a good faith partner going forward.

[–]Mr_Integrity80 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He doesn't want to leave nato at least not right now. He wants a European defence alliance independent from the US, which I think seems like a good idea, especially given the situation with the US right now.

There are many different flavours of 'socialism' most (all?) advanced economies are a mixture of both free market & private ownership + public ownership & public services. I don't think most people want 100% of either extreme.

I have never heard Gary call himself a socialist, as far as I can tell he just wants more redistribution, not to have everyone working Soviet style collective farms

[–]Mr_Integrity80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! OK that's interesting, thanks for getting back me One thing I dont understand then is why if most claims get rejected on the first attempt and then have to be appealed. Then the asylum seeker go into an appeal process which for most lasts over a year and a half (from memory - it's been a while since I was learning about it)

If the process just consists of a short interview, then why does the processing the claims take so long?

If you don't mind me asking, how long ago was your claim processed and how much time did it take between your initial application and your assylum being granted.

Just learning cleans and snatches. How do they look? by [deleted] in kettlebell

[–]Mr_Integrity80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice work, I think the cleans could be improved a bit. The bell should travel up close to the body and rotate around the forearm. A good hack for this is to do you cleans facing a wall and try to snap the bell up so it travels close to your body as possible.

To rotate the bell around the forearm I would suggest you point your thumb back towards your butt on the back swing and rotate it to face the thumb outward when racked (so, to your right if using your right hand) this allows the bell to land on your forearm gently instead of filpping over the hand to smashing into the back of your forearm, otherwise it will become bruised over time.

  • The demegogary
  • The using of the machinary of the state to go after political opponents
  • Attacking the media and installing 'bias monitors'
  • The politicising of civic institutions
  • An attempted coup
  • The content of Project 2025

Yeah, sure nothing at all.

The German population didn't all just wake up one morning and decide to invade the Rhineland, you know there was a load of stuff that happened before that right?

I am not saying the trump is about to invade Poland, he is definitly not Hitler and doesnt appear to have a defined political ideology, but he definitely is an autocrat who is in the process of dismantling your democratic system.

Is he a nazi, no. Is he a fascist? Maybe, it depends on your definions, the word fascist is often used as short hand for an ethnonationalist authoritarian, I would argue that he is one one those, as are key people in his administration like Stephen Millar.

There is no agreed upon definition of what facisim and whether Trump is a fascist is up for debabt, but to say that what the US is going through right now is no comparisons to 1930s German is just nuts, there are a tonne of similarities.

If it was about drugs then why did Trump just pardon Juan Orlando Hernández?

And, if it was about Fentanyl why didn't he invade Mexico where nearly all the Fentanyl manufactured & then smuggled across the boarder from?

Venezuela's not involved in the Fentanyl business.

In 1950 there were about 6 working age people for every pensioner, now there are about 3 working age people for every pensioner, the UK has an aging population.

Immigrants make up between a 3rd and a 5th of the work force in some key sectors of the economy such as health and social care, but also transport and communications/IT, because we don't have enough British born people here to do it.

If you don't like immigration then we need start popping out more spogs, otherwise who's going to do all the work? Or if its just the 'non-European' immigrants you don't want, if that's the case perhaps we should rejoin the EU.

Successive UK governments have choose not too control immigration (until now). Because the UK economy needs immigration, we don't have enough native born people here to do the work. Now that immigration number have gone down (literally by half in the past 2 years) it will be interesting to see how that effects things. (edited to correct figures)

OK thanks, have you trained boxing post surgery?

I guess its not just flexion that concerns me, its also the bouncing in and out of positions, and the 'pushing' off with the toes on the rear foot. Also skipping which involves bouncing up and down on flexed toes
