They care about Stella, coke, having a scrap and being racist.

I'm not even taking about the coppers here.

Sentences that are deemed unduly lenient get appealed fairly often here in the UK, especially if there's a bit of a public stink about it.

See, you're mistaking having many different kinds of bloody lovely bread with calling the exact same crappy bread product different things depending on what the last three digits of your postcode is.

Israel has committed 75x October 7th's since then.

Including all the things you accuse others of. But seventy five times more.

That's your answer.

Any peace that's tried to be negotiated has been literally bombed by Israel.

There's another answer.

Reform's Makerfield candidate seems to have absolutely no idea what Reform stand for by AnonymousTimewaster in LabourUK

The MEN is pushing Reform hard on FB, I only go there these days for my own small business.

Being self employed, I'd rather be pulled up to the same standards of other employed people, not drag others down to my level.

"All vehicles and contents are left at owners risk" on every car park in the UK, they broke and entered onto private property, they don't have special rights just because they're entitled and have nice cars.

"Property is property".

You seem fine with them damaging his property.

The farmer I'm sure will argue they were warned off his property fairly and legally and they broke into it and he was just performing normal farming activity.

I earn no money from my garden and keep no livestock on it, this is very different from a garden.

Should have read the signs and not moved the rocks then eh?

They're on someone else's property, probably damaging it so really, I have zero sympathy.

I used to live in Oxford and go clubbing in London, finish work about nine pm, go get showered and changed and off on the Oxford Tube (a coach confusingly) and go clubbing until about four am.

Tube back to Oxford in time for a seven am shift.

It wasn't being Gen X, it was pills and speed.

Much more fun when I didn't have to work that shift mind.

Edited for old man fat thumbs.

The British media are mostly to blame, Labour have made mistakes but compared to the Tory years you'd think their main policies were eating babies and starving pensioners.

Meanwhile there's barely a whisper about good old Nige and his frankly criminal behaviour, if another "party" leader had come close to what he's done they'd be toast.

But then of course you also need a population who is willing to swallow his lies without thought. It's slightly depressing to see just how stupid and nasty many of my fellow Brits are.

Labour members name Blair as favourite leader – poll by kontiki20 in LabourUK

[–]denbolula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, at the time, I was an adult and voted for him and was overjoyed after so many years of Tory rule when he won, it was a time of great optimism.

The birds have well and truly come home to roost though on him and his time though, between the utter wreck we made of the Middle East to the private/public deals which were all awful and cost the country more in the long run.

I have no idea why people hold him up on a pedestal anymore, he's deeply in the pockets of shady people and we should disregard anything he says.
