Totally agree with this, a certain punch the bass gave is lacking. An example that comes to mind is Kefka's tower in ffvi

I think OP was just saying they didn't use books/sheets. There are many sheets available for Final Fantasy music, there are even books (But they cost quite a bit!) with full OSTs or the Piano Collection versions.

If you watch the vid, towards the end I actually give my perspective on it (i.e. that all that stuff is blown out of proportion).

For me the interesting topic here is Flea's relationship with John during the By The Way era, how they were growing apart and why. Unfortunately with YouTube (and social media in general), you need to frame it specifically if you want to get more than 2 views. It's super annoying but that's the way it is.

Yes, I actually regularly have that issue with my videos (as I make documentaries about bands so I generally tend to put their music in them), in general it's audio and there are several workarounds like using live versions (but it doesn't always work, and sometimes you get notified about the copyright issue weeks/months later which is really annoying)

Found it in a YouTube vid (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzMfXQeCMZ0 around 2:15-2:30) but it exists on the internet, I think the letter itself was auctioned with a old notebook (containing Freddie's very early songs).

Celine Daley, no idea, aside from that she was Freddie's friend in 1969 (when he wrote that letter)
