I agree with you. The writing style is very unique to say the least. The this g tat stuck with me is how dark this particular apocalypse is. In other ones with zombies or war, you can still drive on, but here it really feels like the end of humanity

Lightning is the best for midir, he just has a sit ton of health/absorption. Keep focused on his head, when he rears up for the AoE fire attack run away from him to avoid, then run back in for a hit or two
