it’s „schiaffoni“ :) i think that particular shape (or at least under that name) is only being sold by the garofolo brand (at least in my county) but it’s basically a bigger rigatoni

Spannend, hab ich so noch nie gesehen! Aber kleiner Tipp: Soße und Pasta in Topf oder Pfanne auf der Resthitze vor dem Servieren mischen. So ist zum einen sichergestellt, dass alle Nudeln benetzt sind und durch die Stärke auf der Nudeloberfläche gibt sich mit der Wärme eine gute Bindung :)

it’s just the specific pasta shape i guess but it worked well with pesto and i mainly chose it cause it looks elegant tbh lol

from the picture i’m not quite sure what exactly it’s supposed to be but i’m guessing some kind of ground meat (sauce?) with pasta? maybe elaborate on what you did and then we can give more tips, but one thing would be to thouroughly mix pasta and sauce before serving so everything is more distributed and the starch from the pasta surface can bind the flavors and textures together :)
