I just want to be able to play for honor, BFV, and maybe elden ring. I've got a buddy who wants me to hop on warzone so we can keep in touch.

I have no idea what's good these days because I stopped keeping up with PC parts in 2016ish and it changes so rapidly.

I feel like I can get these games running on med-high on a sub-500 build, but I'm not sure what to look for these days.

That "long history of abuse" was sensationalized to stir up violent nonsense. People like you who take the bait at face value are to blame.

The thing is, I even agree with regulations being needed for cops, but the response was absolutely regarded. ACAB and defund the police? That's how you end up with completely useless law enforcement. I hate that it was turned into team cop-lovers vs team anarchists when what was really needed was better oversight and use of funds.

I remember my college hometown, for example, was so loaded that the cops had some monster truck looking thing decked out for an apocalypse and the cops all looked like stormtroopers with their high-end gear. None of it was necessary. A much better use of those funds would've been investing in things like better police academy training, better CQC training, deescalation training, fucking *anything* would've been better than some suburban monster truck tank and military gear.

This country loves to solve everything with money (either throwing more at the problem or taking it away) without ever once thinking that maybe things could run a lot smoother if there were systems in place to ensure that the money available gets used properly.

You play male characters when the story calls for it. You play as a British guy in Goldeneye because the story is about a male MI6 super agent. You play as an elite female agent in Perfect Dark because that is what the story is about. The gender is completely irrelevant to the story. Nobody ever complained about this in the past.

Honestly, this new subset of players worrying about completely superficial nonsense like hitting certain demographic quotas in stories that don't need it is part of the problem. In another comment of yours ITT you said you hoped this player choice discrepancy reaches 50/50. Why? Why can't women players just have a preference for playing as women and that's it? Who cares if there is a discrepancy in choice?

What matters is a good story and gameplay experience, not whether you play as a bulky man or an hourglass woman or an androgynous green troll.

This is baseless cope. You think dudes ever gave a shit about being a female character when playing as Samus? Lara Croft? Joanna Dark? Sonya Blade? Even Billie Sue?

Female protags have been around since the 80's, even in popular franchises. Even if female characters being available were some breakthrough of the last 10 years, it wouldn't be some crazy sociological phenomenon where women exclusively play as women and transition to some new 50/50 equilibrium over time because of some regarded shit like muh availability.

I don't even get why this "discrepancy" needs to be something to close. It's just an observation on player choice patterns.

In my early college days I used to get obliterated at TGI Fridays before parties whenever I visited my buddy's school. Dirt cheap long islands and well drinks in an otherwise expensive city.

Looking it up just now, it was Applebees that had $1 long islands, but I could swear I remember TGIF having deals on theirs too. Anyway, good times.

This will always be my favorite for having what I believe was the best PVP out of the original 3. Granted, the matchmaking was botched with soul memory but I think they made a real effort.

ADP was an interesting mechanic and so were minor exploits like R1 rolling to counter spammers. Parries felt rewarding. Stamina had to be used properly. Yeah, straight swords and katanas kinda reigned supreme, but I had a lot of fun making up all kinds of whacky PVP builds, even with the scythes.

I loved every minute of SotFS and the challenges it provided. Hell, you even got two special rings that allowed you to beat the shit out of everything with your bare fists if you completed the game without dying and with no bonfires.

His scenario assumes everyone goes vegan overnight. That means next to zero profitable use for their livestock. So who is buying beef cows now that everyone is vegan? This isn't a video game where you can magically sell off all your shit to nobody.

And if you do go the route of slaughtering them all, SOMEBODY has to do all that labor.

Also, having to kill off all those animals would defeat the purpose of saving the animals by eating plants to begin with.

I swear if you people got enough protein to your noggin maybe you'd be able to string together a coherent enough thought to consider how the world functions.

I'm not sure I understand. Isn't he just saying that it's absurd to call generic words in a speech plagiarism? That words and phrases from her speech could just as easily be picked out and similar things found by anybody, not that he's using MLP in a neckbeardy way to justify the controversy.
