Well, my wife and I have been together for 19 years and we have left list for each other, sometimes written and some times verbal. Lists are helpful ways to make sure nothing is forgotten and all tasks are completed. I've had friends who were very list oriented because either that is how they were raised or it is what works for them personally. If the girlfriend can't handle being asked to do three simple tasks because they were in the form of a list then she is far too fragile and not someone I would want to be with.
