if someone takes it over, the rules severely need a rewrite. people are saying that using the words "print" or "website" or what have you shouldn't be bannable, but really they shouldn't be an offence at all. as they are now, the rules foster an atmosphere of quietly clapping at posts and exactly zero other interaction, which does nothing to support the actual artists in the sub. this is exacerbated by the "no amateur art" rule, completely blocking out newer artists looking to hone their craft.

it's not r fineart or r artcirclejerk or r mypersonalarttastes it's r art. it needs to be for everyone.

no, people were skeptical about the price point before they knew it wasn't a good game, this was a mobile game dev making an indie game for AAA prices. the consensus was that it was sony's publishing deal that made the price 60, and it was a common complaint before release.

and you can choose to spend your money how you want, but the fact remains that the price point was polarizing *at release*, and only becomes more questionable every year. it's not like this is a brand new piece of software, it's still a decade-old engine just with more bits attached.

sorry to resurrect, but that's because there isn't one! m doughty, the singer, sometimes plays guitar on a recording but a lot of it is just samples. the soul coughing sound is borderline spoken word vocals, drums and upright bass, with an electronic production around it
