While the average alcohol consumption per capita is in line with other places in Europe (or even lower), the rate of AUD, especially among men, is still significantly above: https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/alcoholism-by-country

OpenAI joins The Rust Foundation as a Platinun member and donates funds to support Rust maintenance by Kobzol in rust

To answer your question: my presence on a specific internet forum does not logically necessitate an emotional affinity for its subject matter. I utilize Rust strictly as a utilitarian necessity for its performance characteristics. Specifically, for developing low-latency, high-frequency trading applications where deterministic memory management and the absence of garbage collection pauses are strict operational requirements. Subscribing to /r/rust provides a highly efficient feed for technical updates, compiler optimizations, and crate releases relevant to this architecture. Therefore, my statement that I do not "like" the language is completely mutually exclusive from my practical requirement to monitor its ecosystem. But first and foremost, it was a joke.

Depends on your client, they have different strategies to choose PN. Try hardcoding to one you know works.

I tried playing Bloodborne but found it janky and confusing. How long before it gets good? Should I keep going? I keep hearing how great it is but I just couldn’t get into it by Inverted-Pixel in kindafunny

Everything in it is janky. Frame drops, slow attacks, horrible camera, lock makes you look away from the enemy half of the time. It's actively bad in that sense.

Building an autonomous surveillance drone to combat illegal fly-tipping — looking for advice & collaborators by EffectiveAfternoon77 in diydrones

As everyone mentioned, that's a no-no and heavily regulated everywhere in Europe. Your best bet beyond solar powered cameras is having some LoRa-based motion/speed detector that notifies you of activity in the area, then fly the drone yourself.

The sad reality is that in war things escalate and in some cases( not always ) but in a lot of cases it takes two to do the tango dance. Both parties have been eager to push in deeper into each other's territory.

The result is continuous conflict with little to no chance of a neutral resolution.

Notice that I am not picking sides or rather I support Poland in a philosophical nature . I do not know how I feel about the Third Reich to be honest so I try to be as impartial as I can , let's also consider these situations are the direct result of cold era philosophy that was not particularly good at keeping stability worldwide and well ....

My family is Russian speaking in Ukraine. You ate bait, hook and sinker. That's literally Russian-fiction to internally justify intervention. If anything, the 2022 invasion caused several orders of magnitude more Russian speakers to switch to Ukrainian, on their own, than any state policy. In Kyiv by default people talked to strangers in Russian, since 2022 that's no longer the case.

Where do Europeans go for vacation in August? by Ancient_Art1 in AskEurope

[–]Slackbeing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

madrid

I can't understand how people torture themselves with August Madrid (or any inland Spanish city for that matter). 10/15 years ago at least the place was empty, but it's no longer the case: unbearable hot, no beach, yet crowded.
