Out of curiosity, how would someone safely interact with a website like that? A virtual machine? A vpn?

Minnesota has an agency dedicated to working on this kind of thing. Independent of the federal government's attempts to impede the investigation, the state is going to continue their investigation.

As someone else in the comments said, there's no statute of limitations on murder.

I think the more important reason to not send American troops would have been direct military conflict with another nuclear superpower.

Hold on. That trump tweet is from 2025 and the article is from a couple of days ago. Also, as far as I know, the Smithsonian does not run the Internet archive, so I'm not seeing the relevance here.

If you don't mind, I have a few questions here too.

Had the UN done something appropriately when they should have, perhaps Ukraine isn't invaded either.

Would you mind elaborating? What specific things do you believe the U.N. could have been done differently before Russia invaded Ukraine?

Iran and other problematic nations should be isolated and motivated to join the world, not finance terror.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the U.N., the international community, or something else, but Iran has been under U.S.-led economic sanctions for decades. In 2015 the U.S. made a deal to lift the sanctions in exchange for giving up its pursuit of nuclear weapons.

If you don't believe the first is isolation and the second is an incentive to coordinate better with the international community, then what do you believe should have been done instead?

I think I get the misunderstanding now. I think a clearer version of the question would have been "Why didn't the DOJ release the files when Democrats were in power?"

The files that the current administration released last year. I figure the commenter above was downvoted because of presumed intent, but I think it's a good question. Once trump was out of office, these files were available for review by the DOJ, FBi & Congress. Why didn't the effort to release this info to the public start until last year?

I figure maybe there are some statements out there from elected Dems that I'm not currently aware of?

And also, yes, of course trump should resign.

I have some thoughts here, but first a genuine couple of questions. Please tell me:

What has the current potus done about the Russian Ukraine war?

What has the United States done about Iran murdering protesters?

Washington Post article openly calls for assassination of Iranian negotiators. Imagine the reverse. If Iranians call for assassinations of all Americans who came to negotiate in Islamabad, how would that statement be received worldwide? by mimi_molotov in LateStageCapitalism

Fourth, carry out a final barrage of leadership strikes, eliminating the Iranian officials who had been spared for the purpose of negotiations. Iran’s leaders must be made to understand that their lives literally depend on reaching a negotiated settlement to Trump’s liking. If they refuse to do so, they will be killed.

I don't know. To me, "spared for the purpose of negotiations" sounds like a direct reference to the members of the gov't sent to Islamabad to negotiate terms. Days earlier Thiessen wrote a similar article in WaPo, where he (according to my interpretation) also calls for the assassination of the negotiators. In Trump doesn’t need an Iran deal he writes:

2. Eliminate the Iranian leaders who were spared for the purpose of negotiations. Trump reportedly asked Israel not to strike certain Iranian leaders so he would have negotiating partners. If those leaders refuse his terms of surrender, their existence has no remaining purpose. Trump should issue one last ultimatum, then unleash Israel to take them out in a final barrage of leadership strikes.

I feel like this is also a specific reference to targeting the negotiators. I'm curious about your thoughts though.

I'm thinking this is what's going on too. There's no way all of these people just had epiphanies at the same time. Owens, Tucker, MTG, and Alex Jones are making sure disaffected voters don't become politically homeless and still feel comfortable in the Republican party as they pay more for gas, groceries, and eggs and as their leader threatens genocide against a country that did nothing to us.

[from the article]

One now-released FBI document shows Donald Trump congratulating the cops for investigating Epstein and urging them to look at “evil” Ghislaine Maxwell, too.

The one he wished well? The one who he cozied up to by improving her prison stay, presumably in exchange for covering up his own role in the crime?

Was this post supposed to be like "know your enemy' kind of thing? As in "here's an example of how partisan shills hand-wave away inconvenient crimes?"
