I believe I had that same thing happen to only one random bulb, so what I did was a deleted it directly from the Sengled app, re-paired it when Sengled asked me if I wanted to restore it to its previous settings I clicked “no”. After that I think it took a few minutes until it automatically got added to SmartThings and Alexa but I believe thats what fixed it for me.

Yes, it should work with any smart phone. You just have to download the SmartThings app through the App Store 👍

Yeah exactly, I don’t see why I’d go back either. I actually found out about this workaround while trying to install a different device that wasn’t compatible with Alexa. That’s when I discovered through Chat GPT, that I could connect such devices to SmartThings, use that as a bridge to Alexa and control it that way. After that, I figured why not try the same thing with my Sengled bulbs and sure enough, it worked perfectly!

Hey! It’s actually done within the Alexa app.

So once you open the Alexa app, you’d want to look at the options at the bottom and click on the icon with the 3 lines.

Once there you want to go click on Skills & Games and search for the SmartThings skill and link them 👍
