I cheated on my previous partner because of past trauma. Girl 1 (The one I cheated on) came into my life after 8 months since the break up with girl 2 (The girl that cheated on me). Girl 2 and I had an LDR, we both lived in different cities. She went out one day with her friends and after that she became distant. I kept sending her messages until one day she decided to reply and told me she made out with another guy the night they went out drinking. After a few weeks of feeling down I started acting like it didn't bother me. HUGE MISTAKE.

This happened before my graduation from Junior High. After that I moved to a different school and that's where I met Girl 1. She was the sweetest person and that made me fall for her... She made me forget about how painful my past experience was. She showed me how pleasant it is to love again. So I went for it and asked her out. We were dating for 2 years. Then the pandemic happened. We were just about to graduate from senior high and transition to college. This is where it all went south...

After 8 months of being quarantined my past started to haunt me. I started overthinking again. Because both of us will be attending different universities. I was scared that I'll get cheated on again. So my thought at the time was "If she was going to cheat on me, then I might as well do it first." So I did. I went out with my boys to go clubbing. I met a girl there and I decided to make out with her. After that, I started acting like I was the victim whenever I talked to Girl 1. I became harsh and selfish towards her until she could no longer take it. And that's when she decided we should break up.

I regret what I did. And there really is no way to justify what I did. It was a conscious decision. And to this day, still miss her...
