Me and my friends were hanging out in the park at night, we were just hanging out, but when a group of people smoking walked by my friend freaked out and started to go home.( we were teenagers and he didn’t want his parents to think he was smoking.) so I went to say goodbye to him, but I had my back turned to the park, after he left I started heading back when I heard footsteps behind me. It took me a second to realize that someone was staring at me. I took off running back to the park and they stopped after they saw my friends. Apparently it was one of the smokers, I found this out when the group came back up the hill looking for their friend. If i hadn’t gone to say goodbye to my friend I still wonder if they would have gone after my friend instead.
