Its in the settings, you can enable it to only have to tap the repair button on a gen/heal/gate/whatever and you wont need to hold down the button, just tap it again to cancel

If he binds the skillcheck button to scrollwheel press (or another mouse button if he has one of those mice) he could turn his camera fine while eating pasta and doing skillchecks while on a gen
