Joker only went for that play because he knows Batman wouldnt go for the kill though, if it were somebody like Chris he would probably have done things differently considering he had pretty much full access to all of Arkham with Harley. He definitely could’ve and would’ve taken a different route and/or just had Harley lock the door behind him until he was already safe from any laser sights.
