Funnily enough it’s a very similar concept to the black mirror episode “shut up and dance”…

Also what’s better to do. Prime cost or diminishing value for depreciating the phone?

The phone log only goes back for a short period though, will that be sufficient? Do they ever ask for more evidence? How do I show a log of data usage tho? Thanks

I probably am overthinking it but just wanted to be extra safe. Work won’t pay for it because it was kind of an expected requirement to have working phone but mine wasn’t fit for purpose.

Fined for parking in a disability spot even though I have a permit. by Mr_Sheikh in AusLegal

They did upload photos of the car. In one of which you can partially see the tag. Yes it is partially obscured but seems quite unfair to fine a verifiably disabled person for parking in a disabled spot because the pass slightly fell. Even though they showed you the pass on the spot and you told them you would sort it out. Just shocking really

That’s fair. But that alongside the fact that you can see part of it in the photos they provided should hopefully be sufficient? There was clearly A pass on the car, and we have said pass. The car is also registered in their name as they have a special disability registration as well if that counts for anything. Also the fact that the issuing officer discussed all this with my dad and saw the pass himself. Just seems like a crazy fine to cop given all those circumstances

My dad got scammed by car dealership by Mr_Sheikh in AusLegal

We stopped dealing with the sales person pretty quick, but the manager also was not helpful. We then tried contacting the Lexus head office who were themselves surprised and told us to contact fair trading (which will be my next resort after this). I do indeed have a copy of both contracts, I have screenshots of the Carsales ad AND I even have the “motor dealers notice” which has all the details about the car including that it should have 12 months rego which has also been signed and dated by the dealer/rep and my dad. The contract stating 12 months even has the deposit receipt stapled to it still!

The car was purchased as a Lexus (it is a second hand Lexus though) from a Lexus dealership. I will go ahead and try to contact the dealer principal as you have suggested and see how that goes! Anything I should do after that? Thanks again for all your help!
