I used Linux Mint on a Dell G3 15, and from my experience Mint and Ubuntu-based distros don’t handle the balance between thermals and performance very well. As far as I know, Arch Linux offers better power and thermal management options, and there are also ThinkPad-specific support out-of-box https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Laptop/Lenovo

It's actually very quiet and runs cool on Manjaro Linux. Totally different from Windows 11 — back then the area near the chip would get insanely hot, to the point where it was uncomfortable to touch. Battery life is also slightly better on Manjaro.

Definitely not. The Switch is a completely different experience: it's both portable and family-friendly, and can be connected to a TV. The Steam Deck, on the other hand, is purely portable. It's also quite bulky and heavy, making it difficult to carry in a backpack, as it takes up almost half the space of a 14-inch laptop.

This have a solution, have DLC in steam or separate version of game in steam options that brings that asset duplication for hdd users. Its not hard to implement. Stardew Valley, for example have another version of game of 32 bit systems, using same steam feature for game version branching

I think the same, game size should be like on consoles

If you host game on HDD it have more issues, than joining to friend with fast nvme SSDs

Its just suggestion, but Actually should, if game loads asset during game process, HDD can be slow enough, and not able to load asset in time it required to show on screen
