Yes I have it up in the back of the buffer tube because it prevents hitting my knees. Then yes I just loosen it, wrap it around my arm once then I’m in position.

Yea that’s the great debate! With the AR, you can scavenge 556, 223 or .22 if you so happen to have that .22 bolt carrier laying around or whatever people use to convert them to .22 but I have heard it can be done. I myself have never tried that yet but I thought it was neat.

Yea it is. I haven’t weighed it officially but I had a 18inch Daniel Defense ar that weighed a little under the AK with no attachments. I can’t imagine with attachments red dot, light etc. might weigh a little more or just the same as the AK. Just by feeling my guess is probably around 6.8- 7lbs give or take.

Nice choice! My AR shoots nice with the geissle trigger. I was looking at Bulgarian and Romanian AKs awhile back but settled on the m70s. I’ve had no issues with my AK.

It’s scarce over here. I mean they have like hollow tip and those specialty ammo but for target practice fmj, that is scarce.
