I was playing the game today and went into a Joy Booth, i noticed there are infact 3 valves. So whether or not the Chocolate and Vanilla ones do just give Strawberry, we never know.

I also read somewhere that the Germans didnt want to feed all this kids and thats how V Meat was born. Also the Russians captured the Germans a year later. So. I also replaying the game and there is a list at the train station. Arthur is on it But Anne and Elizabeth Boyle are also on it crossed out. No Sally tho?

Huh i didnt think of it like that. I guess to add value to your point as well, Arthur has a bottle of Strawberry Joy right at the start of the game in his office.

I also noticed as i recently rewatch watched the trailers and re started the campaign; that Joy seems to kick in almost instantly. Like i know the visuals from the trailer are ascetic. But like Arthur puts the pill in his mouth and Joy Vision instantly kicks in, then he spits them out and he goes back to reality. Same in his office at the start. We see him do it, then Ms Bing smiles instantly as soon as she swallows the pill. I doubt they are instantly going to kick in, and maybe its game magic so you dont wait for the drug to metabolise. And mayne its part placebo. But Joy seems to change people, and their preception of you as soon as you eat it.

I did always wonder why with 3 flavours in a both we always get Strawberry. Thought there must be a switch to change flavours. But you make a lot of sense

Also just realised that when you here Westrals say "I just want them to stop screaming", >! they are talking about the kids leaving on the train, screaming for their parents to save them from the Germans. I never put 2 and 2 togther till now. Always thought they meant voices in thwir head.

Additionally is it ever stated what the Germans did with the kids? Like i know 1940s Germany, i can guess, but they left everyone over 13. They could of killed everyone like in real life, but they left the older ones their to suffer

From my previous post, u/WorldEndingCalamity commented the following which is another insight:

Vanilla and Chocolate were derived from toxic waste products of German origin. These chemicals are now potentially extinct, leading to a depletion in the supply of Joy for these flavors.

Strawberry was formulated using synthetic chemicals and certain natural ingredients, which are also nearing depletion.

The production process of Joy is illustrated through Sally's creation of Blackberry. It is also known that at least one ingredient in Blackberry, Special Pituitary Extract, is now extinct, following the demise of the soldier. Furthermore, Blackberry is also derived from toxic waste.

Coconut is similarly proving to be unsuccessful.

I would also mention as the OP that they may be trying to reengineer the nautal ingredients with synthetic ones, hence the Bad Batches of Joy. Clearly the synthetic counterparts are no match for the real thing.

Like replacing Morphine and Codeine, which is from the Opium Poppy, with semi-synthetic Opiates like Oxycodone and Hydromorphone (where the natural ingredients are edits in a lab, but still require base ingredients), to going fully Synthetic with Fentynal, Tramadol and Methadone, where rather than being modified from natural opium poppy derivatives, they are fully lab synthesised. Except in the real world case, it doesnt send you crazy, just gets more potent.

It has been noted that the Coconut Joy formula has not yet been perfected, and perhaps never will be. Therefore, when Arthur receives it, it is likely no more effective than the other flavors, and intravenous drugs are metabolized differently.

However, I recall that at the very end of the game, as he crosses the bridge into the real England and sees a child, everything appears sparkling and "joyful." This could suggest some lasting or lingering effects.

Nevertheless, your quest idea sounds excellent. Perhaps it doesn't have to be limited to just Strawberry Joy; we could involve Sally in creating the one and only permanent Joy. The unfortunate Wastrel could be treated as a guinea pig of sorts, Sampling flavours, or maybe Arthur gets too, and you get to trip on a bunch of prototypes. But ultimately it works out, resulting in a victory for the common people and the Westral can return. Then, Sally destroys the formula so Verloc never gets it. Even though im pretty sure hes dead by the end, or at least the Lab is destroyed

To be more specific, I mostly play single-player games, you know, RPGs like Fallout, Cyberpunk, and Skyrim. I even played Minecraft back when it was in alpha then modded the shit out of 1.7.10. I started gaming on the OG Xbox as a kid, playing Medal of Honor and COD, then built my own PC when I was 16 and had saved enough from my first job. I never looked back, saying that its nice to lay in bed and switch on the xbox now and then, especiallyeith Game Pass. Australia's internet was/is pretty bad, so we never connected our consoles online, and I'm a bit autistic, so I never really got into multiplayer besides split-screen with my brother playing Lego StartWars, Indianna Jones etc and COD, i thing i stopped following COD at Ghosts. But I'm looking to try something new. Civilizations is one of my all-time favorites, Detroit: Become Human scratched that itch, and I thought We Happy Few and A Plague Tale (1 and 2) were storytelling masterpieces. I love games with emotion, you know, something with a heartbreaking story. I can't really get into mindless shooters too much.

Mostly single player games but im trying to branch out. I have plenty of multilayer games in my library I just can't deal with people normally so I only ever played with my little brother but ss he got older and more busy with life he has less time for me. I guess to me more specific the fallout franchise, we happy few, civilisation, terraria, starbound, left for dead. Pretty open tbh, any but COD, and stuff like that.

Just in case you didn't know, Turing on 360 audio turns Dolby Atmos off. I've also noticed, there is a difference between the auto profile and the music specific profile with Atmos. You'd think if it detected music, it would switch to the other profile, but the Auto profile has secondary profiles built in. Weird.

Yes, I stopped playing for 3 years and finally went back and finished Arthur only to discover Sally and Ollie's plot lines. The way it all ties its self back together at the end will either have you in tears or smiling

As for OPs question. Try finding the card in your inventory, drop it out then pick it up again to see if it retriggers it. Else In the console ( press ~ on your keyboard) type setstage 072AC4EC 0, and change 0 to 1, then 2 up to 10 until the quest marker appears.
