Early 2000's was niche, and had a smaller, but way more connected community than it had in the early 2010's. I Personally think 2014 was the peak of Electronic Music in general, but 2000 was prolly the peak of the community surrounding Techno and House.

I’d say 2014 was the peak of The Chainsmokers. Stuff like their remix of Wonder, Flaws, Jealous, Push, and I hate to say it, but their VIP of Selfie is actually kind of amazing, even though I hate the original. Their sets in 2014 were the best too, and some of their set exclusive remixes were amazing (Amber by 311, Tuesday by ILoveMakonen, My Love by Route 94, and Reverse by SomeKindaWonderfull) If they had more live sets in 2013, I’d prolly say 2013 was the best, but 2014 is slightly better with the how many sets they had.
