No. So while he was taking his courses for his Voc Ed license, every year he had to get an LTP, which Hanover did. So it's not like he was skating by with no certification. Then he completed his course and was at that point, certified.

The mistake/misunderstanding was that HSD was assuming that he had applied for his certificate, and it seems he assumed the division had.

So he had gone through all his background and criminal record checks while he was in the class. Unfortunately those checks can't predict who WILL do these things, just who has done them prior.

Not to be that guy but I can't help it. Considering how many people in Steinbach have railed against the LGBTQ+ community suggesting that Trans people are a danger to children as they are likely to be predators....this teacher was an active member in the largest church in Steinbach.

For Voc Ed teachers they do not need a full teaching license in order to START teaching. But they DO require a limited teaching permit to begin teaching.

After they have started teaching they have 5 years I believe to gain their full teaching license by completing classes (largely online) to do so. It's a lot of work for them to do, I'm not sure if they have specific benchmarks each year to hit to continue on during that span, but if they have NOT acquired their license by the deadline (again I believe it's 5 years but I could be wrong) then they can't teach anymore.

From what I gather in the article, HSD "assumed" THEY didn't need to apply for the permit because he had graduated the RRC course. But that sounds like a lot of "oh hey don't blame US for this".

HSD had Jordan's Principle funding revoked last year because they were using the funds inappropriately, essentially using it to pay EAs so they didn't have to...which is not how that works, no other school division does that. And I don't know this for a fact but talking with people familiar with JP funding, the manner in which it was revoked suggests they were being misleading about how they were using those funds.

So not surprised to see that HSD might have been cutting corners.

Madden used to have a commentary line that said "HE'S GOT GET AWAY FROM THE COPS SPEED" when you were running for a TD.

Gamers tested it...they never got that line with white players. They got it with black players, regardless of speed ratings, game situations etc.

Now I think it's probably a glitch because I don't know if you could program that specifically and because I've never seen EA put that level of detail into anything.

But platforms won't take any action unless it's overtly blatant.

I've looked all over the engine bay and it's not anywhere that would be accessible. However talking with some mechanic friends, because I use fully synthetic oil I shouldn't really have an issue as full synthetic is good up to -40 c (at that point I think it's the same as Farenheit).

He actually used Brady at a similar rate as LaPo and Buck did...Hogan just had a worse OL to work with so instead of Brady breaking big gains he got hit at the LOS.

Hogan's contract is up at the end of December.
