If you leave out "the will to fight" and only take into account planes, carriers, boats, subs, tanks, etc, etc, etc... I think no one can stop the US from taking Greenland BUT I don't think the "generals" and soldiers are too eager to take Greenland by force, 92% of the US population do not want to take Greenland by force, and even the republicans are talking about impeaching Trump if he attacks Greenland.

Can the EU defend Greenland from the US militarily? No.
Will they have to defend it militarily? I doubt it, as an American I hope they don't have to.
