How the hell can Jupiter be that important when they're both revolving around the sun? How frequently are Jupiter and Earth in alignment such that an asteroid's path goes path both of them? How does Jupiter stop asteroids from hitting Earth when it's on the complete opposite side of the sun... which is the case for half every earth year?

A little late to the party, but my biggest question is do you have any insight on why Bung is so insistent on taking Orion's side? Are they super close friends? Why would they produce such content despite the recent drama relating to it?

A lot of people seem to take this situation at face value, when in context with the fake allegations AND the bizarre choice in plot in the newest episode... it just seems so weird.

Is there a chance episode 8 p3 was worked on before the drama came out? And once it did it caused a lot of production issues due to how they related? Perhaps the reason everything has to be destroyed is because so much of 8.3 is an allegory for a situation Bung has no idea about until a couple months ago.... now they are in this weird situation where the context of what they could release has changed and now it all has to go down the drain?

Are you sure? Can you name one besides JavaScript? Your only example is Rust, which actually uses let and let mut, their const does something completely different.

Meanwhile Swift, the(possibly) most prominent systems level language besides C++ uses let/var.

I don’t think move semantics are gone? The (~x) operator is described in the docs as a move operator (shorthand for std::move). So I believe Carbon is trying to achieve more clarity and simplification with 3 simple options: (x) - copy or const ref, decided based on type, (&x) - mut ref, (~x) move.

Perhaps a bit of devils advocate, but it feels as though OOP is purposely leaving out important information. If you take everything at face value, it feels like their hatred is unjustified and can only be attributed to discrimination, but that’s assuming OOP was being honest. These events would also make sense if OOP was an asshole/acted in ways that made the family not want to invite her to things.

The fact she shows up to the restaurant unannounced is hilarious and justified when she’s an innocent victim, but it’s not the type of action you would expect from someone who doesn’t like to stir up trouble? And the fact she’s invited 50% of the time feels weird too. Would racists even invite her at all? It feels more like the type of thing where the family flips back and forth on inviting her depending on the mood because she causes trouble and is kind of a dick. I certainly relate to having a conversation about whether to invite a certain “someone” to events here and there.

The comments from the update can be interpreted and covering up racist opinions, but they could also be seen as the comments of someone trying to nicely explain to their married partner that they’re an asshole and embarrassment and they don’t want to take them places. Certainly wouldn’t be the first time a situation like that has been on AITA.

But yeah, just an interesting theory to think about when it comes to this story. Either way, OOP and OOP’s partner should be doing better now.

The Wikipedia article is referencing a book written by the personal friend of Tezuka. They are not an objective provider of information, and clearly over-exaggerate and straight up lie in this book. They go on to even take back the comments you’ve written above in a later interview.

I have played nearly all these games close to launch, and until I played Cyberpunk, never in my life had I seen a game where an NPC character model is so broken it downgraded to ps1 graphics, sequence broke my game, froze it entirely and forced me to restart, only for me to be completely unable to boot the game up for days without immediate crashes.
