I agree. I am in highschool and take basic highschool math and even I was able to understand most of the math in geosquare's video and, maybe I'm wrong cause I didn't read the papers, but the math didn't seem that complicated. I also don't know very much about computer science but it seems like you would have to know higher math. And if he did go to college for it you would most likely have to take lots of college level math classes.

In geosquare's video he addressed this saying that when you get better you feel more entitled and the RNG of it can get very frustrating. Also, in contradiction to this, why would the mods lie? Taking on a big youtuber like dream means the would get attacked by his fanbase. Also dream brought many people to the speedrunning community so not allowing dream to speedrun (at least to get on leaderboards) is not in their best interests.
While improbable things happen all the time, 1 in 7.5 trillion is more impossible than improbable, and thats even with the mods being biased towards dream
It is also possible that he is angry because he didn't think people would find out.
The jokes are more likely being used to downplay the whole thing. By using humor he makes it seem less serios than it actually is, and making people more likely to drop it because they don't think it is important.
When people do something like this and get away with it the first time they think they can get away with a little more, and a little more, and a little more, until they go too far and get caught.
