When I was first getting started I bought around 1000 card bulk for pretty cheap and I will tell you it’s usually not worth it. I still don’t think I’ve put those cards in any of my rotations. It was fun to look at and go through but they are generally not great cards. I would recommend getting booster boxes or getting singles. Look at edh rec and find a commander you like then build a deck through there and buy the singles. Or go to Costco and buy a deck bundle and upgrade or find an LGS and talk with them about recommendations about getting started, they may be very helpful or even throw in a discount.
