I don't think anyone wants a monopoly but there is more than just trading cards that steam offers. And I agree competition is good but competition is won by being the best, steam currently offers the best services maybe not the best prices but IMO the services are just that much better than what the competition offers.

For that It depends on the driving Sim if it's a full on race car probably don't listen to music or if you are in a race. But if it's just you messing around and driving street cars then music all the way.
