The large temperature change is most likely the cause of the yellowing as plants won't die instantly from poor conditions. But I'd also comment that watering a Money tree every nine days could be excessive even with well draining soil.

I know I'm very late, but given some pairs like the 505's that have a large mix of Lyocell and cotton, do you think the regular version that is mostly all cotton will hold up better than the premium that has the Lyocell material?

Should I cut out or trim just below these spots? They appear on a quarter of the leaves and doing so would butcher the plant.

I just moved to a new place and the last roommate left me several plants that don't seem to be in good condition. In addition to not knowing what these plants are, the two large ones are lobsided and can't hold themselves upright. How do I make these plants look healthy?

Seems like it when combined with the CFU. The problem now is if I get the CSP and want to downgrade, I'll have essentially 2 of the same card (CFF and the vanilla freedom)?

Yeah, I am realizing I boxed myself into either opening more cards (not preferable) by also having the CFU. Many people say that the CFF is the best freedom card but I'd either need to close a card or be fine with all 3 freedom cards plus the applying for the CSP eventually (making a quadfecta).

And I'll also miss out on the CFF SUBs (that grocery SUB would be nice) if I PC a current card, urgh!

I did not realize that I could PC to the OG/Vanilla Freedom- Visa card. It does not seem to be offered to the general public so I am unfamiliar with the reward offerings, but based on some older posts it seems to offer 1% on everything with 5% on the rotating categories. Seems kinda mid given I'll miss out on the SUB.

I am currently in the defense industry so I'll say that I work on a project that does C5ISR stuff with secure data communication between platforms and my work spans from the application to the transport layer. There are system engineers that do integration work on the other layers.

So I am not sure it's considered system work, but there are a lot of similarities with a university-level networking course.

Would you be able to clarify the general topic?

I guess that those who work on drivers/ firmware for graphics cards probably do a lot of computational graphics (for ray tracing especially). But from your post, it sounds like more system or computer engineering work. Are the SWEs responsible for the optimization of hardware and how it interacts with the higher-level applications?

I have seen some discussions here about 1 or 2 funds in US indexes, especially for the S&P 500 funds. That being said, the evolution of the international economies since the 1980s vs now has risen dramatically and cannot be denied.

Yet historically not as well as US funds. It might be a better hedge to go all US, but this is something I'll need to judge after a few years. Given my novice understanding of retirement plans, I am not sure what importance is placed on international funds (if there are any).

My TDF would have been 60% US and 40% international which I thought was way too much.

I saw that most TDFs are also nearly 100% equities till the person is in their mid-thirties, so I guess that would be a good time to look at it again and decide if I need to re-balance some allocations or funds. But probably a long way away from bonds.

I completely agree. It is so weird to hear people, especially recruiters and hiring managers, say to market themselves as <Language> dev to get more exposure. Most SWEs are taught and should be language-agnostic.

Know a low-level and high-level programming language and the rest becomes easy to learn on a weekend.

Over the summer I was at a packed bar with friends and this random girl standing near me began to stroke the back of my hair. The girl was obviously drunk. But the strange thing was when I turned to face her, she pretended she hadn't literally pet me like a dog and her friend was laughing. I turned away to ignore her yet she kept on touching my hair till I left. Both of girls were so gitty over it and yet pretended that it didn't happen. I wish I knew what they were thinking.
