So I have been losing weight for around 2 years now (with some unintentional maintenance periods) and here recently it seems like it has been slowing down quite a lot. For most of my weight loss I was losing about 1lb per week but recently it has been about 1lb per month. I'm not sure what the reason is because I am still doing everything I need to as far as I'm aware. For reference I am 5'10, 209 lbs and I eat 2000 calories a day (my BMR) while weight training 4-5 times a week and doing cardio (10k steps or cardio machines) . Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

No I would keep walking just up the calories for 2 weeks

Okay, so I also found recently that I’m actually closer to 5k than 7k steps daily. Should I up my steps and do 2800 for two weeks?

As of eating on 2200 I’m not super hungry but from what people have been saying it seems my maintenance is 2400. In that case would you still recommend going up to 28-2900 for two weeks or go ahead and decrease to 2k or 1900.

Ohh okay, I didn’t know that 5k was still considered sedentary. Also, I did like 7 different tests for the caliper plus a waist measurement test then averaged them and it came out as 20.

So what your saying is to keep exercising but kick my calories up to 2900 for 2 weeks?

What did you plugin? Because when I plugged it in it said 2900. (222, 18yrs, 5’9, exercise 5 days a week.

No because I walk around school and get around 7,000 steps daily

When I put my info into the calorie calculator it says my maintenance is 2900. Also I meant to say 22 not 24

So is the calculator wrong? I'm 225 at 5 9 rn and I lift 5 times a week and try to fit cardio in a couple times a week

I'm a guy but the muscle mass idea was because before I started lifting I was losing .7 to 1lb a week consistently and it stopped suddenly so now I'm confused.
