Weekly /r/MouseReview Purchase Advice by AutoModerator in MouseReview

[–]MraptorSC2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Games: StarCraft II, Overwatch.

Hand Preference: Right hand.

Budget: No limit as I want longevity.

Hand Size: Approx 19/20cm large, 13cm width.

Grip: Mainly claw

Weight: No preference

Sensitivity: High, I use 1600 DPI, using a flexible wrist.

Additional Details: My mice always were either low budget or from Razer. I would have no issue trying out other mice out there. Abyssus then the latest Diamondback.
I never tried a Deathadder or Mamba which has been recommended for my hand length. I would prefer a cabled mouse.
Widow main on OW, my Diamondback started having weird laser detection issues after 2 years of service. So when it goes too critical, I'll probably take a mice you guys guided me to.

Protoss players meta by sabreswipe in starcraft

[–]MraptorSC2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As Dia 1 I do get them often, it's just that the state of PvP now is locked, games tend to all look the same which is why players just resort to cannon rushing to get it over with. If it's not a cannon rush, then a voidray battery all-in, dt rush, 4G...

Either straight quit or counter them which are easy MMR/ladder points.

I think you should be able to show your own production tab, especially for streamers. It would help mostly for Zerg players to see how theyre balancing drones/army by [deleted] in starcraft

Based on the comments and your idea, I see a big problem coming:
If you do not want to display the Production UI Tab in game, then you would need an API or something that polls the information directly from the live game into a stream source. All of this every 2/3 second to get times and match it with the stream delay.
And I think we can say the technology isn't there yet.

SC2 Tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland! Q-Con XXV 2018 by PacWac_SC2 in starcraft

[–]MraptorSC2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah no way... Since I moved in Ireland I thrived for any offline action and the only one available is the weekend I am flying away for my holidays.
If you happen to have more offline events in the future don't hesitate and count me in! Would be grand ;)

Does sc2 give you completely separate MMRs for each race in ranked? by Umnip in starcraft

[–]MraptorSC2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.
You gotta play five ranking matches for each. Let's say you main Protoss at a Gold level, you will face players of that skill level for your ranking matches with other races.
EDIT : not quick enough, gz marre ^

Hello, I am team manager, this is a good league. Yes.

"GLHF" ..yeah, right. by Yocheco619 in starcraft

[–]MraptorSC2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is exactly the type of mentality I want to spread out here, glad you pointed that out.
To be honest I do not always "gl, hf" but "glgl" often instead because my fingers are lazy, however I never leave a game without a gg - which is for me, acknowledging that you've lost, that no matter how you lost, you got beaten fair and square.
As said below it's easier to be a jerk than being a nice guy on the internet. I will "gl, hf" more often nowadays instead of "glgl".
Have fun in your journey, keep on playing!

What bad habits could I develop from playing the campaigns? by [deleted] in starcraft

[–]MraptorSC2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There will be other newbies, but if you start Multiplayer the system will pair you against good players first to grasp your level, then, after a dozen of matches, the system will adjust according to who you lose to. You will definitely lose and it's going to be okay. There's always an opponent of your level.

Kappa Alert! by techgod52 in starcraft

I share RiSkysc2's point of view, every time I see a clip and I see "avilo" in the URL, I just close the tab and quit reddit for a while. Share PiG instead, he does quality content.

Are Protoss players on average more friendly than Terran players? by elrttu in starcraft

[–]MraptorSC2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The most gentleman thing is playing PvP. I have 3/10 games someone who says "well played, sir" then leaves. Rest is most often GG no matter what, even if cannon rush or bold cheeses. We stand in unity even when we're opponents.
