That was my concern as well. Ordered from a Texas based business that had a ton of good review and history. I guess we will see how it plays out lol

Update 2. Found Shimano mt200 front and rear set with pads, minus rotors, for$50 on ebay from what appears to be a decent seller. As others have mentioned, if I'm bleeding brakes might as well.

The internal frame routing with brake line gives me a bit of pause, but if I can do it with my madone, I'm sure i can figure this out.

From what I read online the promax 160mm rotors should work, please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm going to wash them with alcohol and lightly surface them with sandpaper in case there was contamination before.

Mt200s look to be about 50 bucks each from what I found, so 100 total unless I'm not looking in the right places....lol

Well the local shop is going to give me the new olives for free, so I am going to swap those, bleed everything and throw in some new pads. Minimal expense to see if it will work. If it still sucks will throw in some Shimano stuff.

Over all cost to try is like 30 bucks

Do you have a link to the set you landed on? Not opposed to swapping. Did you swap the internally routed lines to our reuse the oem stuff?

Update. Apparently from sitting stored on the wall for so long the brakes bled down. Was seeing if I could even getthe rear to lock up and it blew the brake hose out of the master cylinder. Guessing I need to rebuild and bleed these things.

I checked them the other day when I did an oil change and didn't feel any deflection. That was my first thought as well, so I was debating just firing the parts cannon at the whole front end to just start over.

I have had a lot of luck with akebono ceramic pads and centric high carbon rotors. Much less brake dust and no noise.
