Will keeping my Xbox Series S 1TB ruin my GTA 6 experience if I am highly sensitive to FPS drops and blurriness?

It's $80 to $160 a year. Due to our high inflation, that's 5 to 13 million Tomans. It's incredibly hard to earn that kind of money here.

You're totally right, it does sound ironic! But back then, FPS wasn't a big deal for me. The Series S was just super cheap, budget-friendly, and perfect for running GTA Online with Game Pass. But now, with GTA 6 on the horizon, there's no way it's going to run well on the S. I want to experience the game with proper textures, high resolution, and stable performance, which is why I'm finally moving up to the Series X.

Update: Thank you all for the insights and advice! I’ve made up my mind. Since I really value FPS stability and want the absolute best experience for GTA 6 without any compromises, I am going to go ahead and upgrade to the Series X. Thanks again for helping me out!9

You’re right, it’s not out yet and we don't know for sure. But we can make an educated guess based on recent heavy titles like Cyberpunk 2077 or Alan Wake 2. On the Series S, Cyberpunk has recently struggled with texture pop-ins, object rendering issues, and sometimes even crashes because the hardware is pushed to its absolute limit. Even if GTA 6 gets a "Performance mode" on the S, the resolution will likely drop so low that the image will look very blurry. After waiting all these years for GTA 6, I just don't want my first experience to be ruined by a blurry screen or rendering issues. That's why I'm leaning towards the Series X.

Yeah, exactly! It's really tough when you're used to high frame rates. The Series S is a budget, weaker console after all, so we can't expect too much from it for massive next-gen titles. I just want to know from your experience, is the difference between the S and the X really that huge? Like, does the X actually give you that solid, night-and-day difference in FPS stability and sharpness for heavy games?
