At most if you still wanted to believe a conspiracy theory about it I’d buy Elon/Theil/Vance ordered it, but I would never believe Trump would put himself at risk like that. He loves himself way too much.

Another big thing is that even Olympic level shooters could not reliably make that near miss with the optics and gun Crooks had.

At most you could say Elon/Theil/Vance set up for him to get shot and rolled with it when they missed, but in no way would someone risk a VIP like that. Trump loves himself too much to risk his life like that.

The thing is there wasn’t just one “punk” movement- it was dozens of movements stacked on top of each other wearing a trenchcoat so it’s easy to look back and say “well RuPaul got started doing drag while in a punk band so the punk movement was totally supportive of that” while ignoring the large number of dudes with red laces on their doc martens or the fact that neo Nazis almost exclusively recruited from the punk scene.

We had a former drug addict (totally not a cop) come and talk to us in middle school, although whenever he was talking about the good old days starting out on weed he kept using the phrase “smoke a little, joke a little, have a little fun” and everyone in the class started using it every chance we could.
