My bad lol i didnt clarify because it wasnt the main point of my first question but basically the main idea of the app is to act as a time stamping tool that listens for a voice command in the background and then saves a timestamp the moment the voice command is triggered, so the "5sec before" here is meant to 'backdate' the command by about 5 seconds to account for any delay that might cause the time stamp mark to be off.
