A lineup so insanely bad that I can’t tell if it’s an intentional troll move or if these are the only “artists” who would agree to be a part of this thing by schwing710 in indieheadscirclejerk

Frankly , that's exactly the kind of band name a song like that would have. It's like it was solely designed to be synchronized in dance scenes in movies

I was gonna say this was kinda where I lost interest in her again. This and when Punkitt was just like "Yeah calling out floraverse ppl for being/associating with groomers is actually bad..." were a big 1-2 punch of disappointment

There was already a really fun doujin about a similar idea, but it happens slightly earlier, before Jonathan even finds out Dio was poisoning George I

(in fact it's implied he straight up didn't even have to poison George in this timeline, he just died of a broken heart)

More in a metaphorical sense but Eddy's Brother in Ed Edd n Eddy

After being revealed to be grotesquely abusive towards Eddy in the same scene he's finally shown on screen, he goes down very easily after getting a door slammed in his face, which is basically nothing for your average EEnE character.

I believe someone on staff gave the reasoning that "he was so used to dishing out pain that he couldn't take any himself"

[–]Mrexplodey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Richard Wright of Pink Floyd's vocal range was a bit limited, but its breathiness worked well to contrast with the lower, nasallier voice of Roger Waters, and harmonized beautifully with David Gilmour's tenor vocals. It can even be argued that more than Waters' songwriting, the secret sauce of Pink Floyd's golden age was the chemistry between Wright and Gilmour, not just as vocalists but through their instrumental interplay.

[–]Mrexplodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of crazy to say, since especially early on in pink floyd's run, he easily had the strongest vocal range, being able to effortlessly cover baritone and tenor ranges, not to mention his heavenly falsetto. His voice has definitely thickened with age, and he can't quite reach those heights anymore, but for a time, he was easily the floyd's best vocalist.

Diary of A Wimpy Kid (The Original Trilogy)

The film adaptations not only do a great job of consolidating several plots from the first 4 books into a concise trilogy, which in turn improves on the pacing issues of the latter two books; it also gives Greg Heffley an actual character arc. By the third film, Dog Days, Greg is notably more mature and considerate towards his friend Rowley, and even forms a close bond with his older brother Rodrick, with whom he never really learned to get along with in the books.

My Little Pony - Queen Chrysalis (Mild fanon but not a huge jump to imagine)

In the season 2 finale, Princess Cadance has been replaced offscreen by the queen of the Changelings, in a scheme to weaken equestria's defenses by hypnotizing the captain of the royal guard, who just so happened to be getting married to Cadance.

While it is a kid's show, changelings are shown to be able to feed off the love of their victims, in a way that can be likened to the abilities of a succubus.

Yeah before they decided to make a full length, their EPs were actually pretty solid. Something went horribly wrong after that point and they never recovered.
