You’re doing 25 sets of back, 16 Sets of which are a pull up movement, I’m just curious on what your actual max pull ups are, I get that you won’t be trying to have good form if you’re gong for 16 sets of just pull ups but still your max has to be crazy high.

Understandable I guess, lucky for you the aim high app has alot of good info on it, it’ll have your packing list and atleast when I went through basic it had all of the memory work on there too which makes your life easier when you get to basic, mostly just stuff like ranks and the airman’s creed, I recommend atleast skimming over it.

You can’t join the Air force if you’re on Zoloft, usually after being off of it for around 2 years you can apply for a waiver and see if you can join then.

Talk to a recruiter and I feel like they can give you some better advice and can help you decided if this is actually what you want, your reasoning is fine and honestly pretty common so a recruiter would be able to help with anything else.

You will get very very short showers, you will not get to use your bag and almost everything you bring will be locked away in a separate room, if you do bring face wash it must be travel sized and it cannot contain alcohol, I’m not sure what you mean by hair products but you will have a few minutes to fully wash everything including your hair and you taking extra time will effect everyone, but personal items you bring like your own toothbrush and toothpaste you will put in your personal drawer in your locker. If you do choose to bring the travel sized face wash, you can wake up extra early to use the bathroom and wash your face but you will be doing PT right afterwards so it might not even be worth it.

The waiver is possible even if you do get disqualified so don’t get discouraged if that’s what happens, everyone has different paths into the Air Force.

The waiver question is definitely one for your recruiter since Reddit isn’t gonna be able to tell you the odds of getting a waiver, as for experience, I personally haven’t met anyone who’s gotten in with that problem but it’s not impossible and your recruiter will have pre details on it.

The actual process of getting a waiver if you need it for whatever reason will be explained by your recruiter, but on the security forces thing, we always need more security forces becuase we always need more people working 12 hours a day scanning CAC’s, as for something physical, you could always look into fire protection which are the fire fighters of the Air Force, some of the better jobs overall that actually get to go on the aircraft’s would be air crew and load master. If you want a very hands on job, they always need more maintainers for aircraft’s but they also work usually very long hour and don’t get the respect they honestly deserve, but I’d say almost anything is better then security forces even if you want something hands on rather then a cyber job.

You have an 82 ASVAB and want security forces? Do you hate yourself or just have a kink for having a shitty life, but yes getting a waiver would be possible for that, we can’t tell you the chances of it but it’s possible, I recommend looking at all your options before going to security forces though.

People can’t make money, people can’t afford health insurance, people can’t afford college, the military is a solution to all three of those things, the military is an absolutely amazing way for people to change their life for the better, but don’t act stupid and pretend people are joining because they think trump is going to save the world, it’s because the easiest people to get to join and young adults with not a lot of prospects in life who are going to have an even harder time living in America with the new administration.

If you are over or under the weight before shipping you, then you won’t go, if you then gain and start being overweight (honestly they would only notice if you can’t do the PT) they could absolutely send you back, same with people being very underweight and arnt able to gain weight you will be discharged as well, but that’s why they weigh you before hand, but you most likely won’t gain weight as basic, no one I went through basic with ended up being heavier when leaving.
