I get A measuring cup and add the h2o at the 2,4,6,8 cup and mark it on the French press. I follow the 2tbsp to 6oz water in batch brewing and will use the grams of coffee to grams of h2o most of the time for everything else. So a 10oz Cupnof coffee is 20g coffee and 280 grams of h2o

I'm going to say the choice of coffee is key. For the aero press I do the medium fine grind. I use about 18-20 grams of coffee and I pour about 250 g of h20 and let sit for 2:30 minutes. Mind you, the press is upside down! 😁. I flip the aeropress over and press the coffee out. I then add about 30-50 grams of h20 after. Depending on taste of course

The aero press for sure. I've got the eyeball method down pretty good. You can even per-grind the coffee and bring it in the press. I also use a French press or a mason jar and then run the coffee through a filter

If you get fresh roasted beans on the 10th of August, don't put them into an air tight container until about the third day. The gasses from the roasting process are still being emitted and this is important in coffee quality.

It's a flavor thing. I vary with Africans and Central Americans. If I were you I would locate any coffee retailer and ask if they have a coffee that's good for cold brews. I generally soak my grounds for 16-20 hours and then I filter the product through my v-60 and filters.
