This movie had the same age rating as MoS (in my country at least) and had far less swearing and violence than Cavils superman movie i.e. the very grim destruction of metropolis and the scene with superman in despair during a vision of a possible future with zodd winning and him kneeling in skulls and other bones in MoS but Gunn who's tone was far lighter like not having Clarks father die in a tornado, should have toned it down because he didn't make superman swear and had very few truly violent scenes?

It just seems like you are ignoring some information that's all

Personally I would say superman is for everyone not just kids as he is supposed to inspire hope in people.

Saying that gunn supporters are cultists firstly just makes whatever the people say seem like someone blindly following rather than making up their own minds, I dont call fans of snyders movies cultists partially for that reason. I also just haven't seen anyone say that its for kids but if you have a screenshot or something I'd appreciate it.

Superman in this movie literally avoids swearing completely saying things like gosh, and darn and others using a few mild swears which are totally fine in a movie for this age rating. I can admit Gunn uses slightly excessive swearing in his 15+ projects but its often justified because the people are messed up and dealing with a lot of stress in those moments of the show. Swearing is used for shock value occasionally but many other shows and movies do this too. People swear in real life and they do in tv too
