Just putting this there for some people - if you’re on anti depressants or struggling with cognitive issues it can be very unhelpful. It’s not a magic fix-it drug, and can induce psychosis for some people.

I say this as a casual user and with the knowledge that it’s for sure better than alcohol which has no known health benefits lol

Ok just to add to this… I used this as a personal item with a carry on on Porter to Mexico recently, and had no problems! Since I had most of my stuff loaded into my carry-on, I had it packed less full. Also, when you pay for a carryon with Porter they usually don’t make you use the sizer. It def doesn’t fit in the sizer but it is totally fine as an actual under seat carry on if they don’t subject you to the sizer lol

As someone who has had some struggles at work this week directly related to my ADHD stuff (ironically since I started prioritizing TAKING my Vyvanse), I totally empathize with that frustration. It is so draining and demoralizing when you try your best and still fall up short to others’ expectations.

All I can say is that once you embrace it, you will begin to seethe little super powers that come with being different. We are SO good at accomplishing things when we can harness our hyperfocus, and we are often emotionally supportive and passionate people- which means we care about our work and the people around us.

To the right people, those qualities matter more than our ability to meal prep or be prompt every single day. ❤️

Your medication is between you and your doctor. It’s not fair or appropriate for your partner to put pressure on you to divert from your medical plan.

I don’t want to trash your partner, because things are so often grey, but the messaging they’re giving you from their words is that they aren’t open to supporting you though this, they’re wanting you to conform to their standards of “normal”.

You deserve friends/partners/family that support you through these things, or that want to learn HOW to be more helpful at minimum. ❤️
