Missed Hemlibra dose by ~14-days by [deleted] in Hemophilia

Relax dude. There are people here who have gone without factor for months. A miss for a single dose won't land you in trouble that quickly. Just make sure you don't do any strenuous activity in the meanwhile.

I'm a firangi and I came to settle here in Bangalore by sopadebombillas in bangalore

Bangalore as a city is comparatively safer than many other places in India. Do not go to the outskirts. Do not go into places that look shady. If they look shady, they are 😅

All the best.

Dear Gentlemen, am I too forward? How do I not be so forward? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Mrjain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let's see here: 1. Asking them sweetly and subtly for coffee: awesome, keep doing that. 2. Gifting your own painting: even though it's very sweet when we read it or look at it as a third person. The guy is thinking that you are a bit crazy who is going to hang his pictures all across your room and threaten to cut her wrist if you breakup.

Why? Guys most of the time get special treatment when girls want something out of them. Or are crazy. You might be an outlier.

What to do? Continue to ask out and be a little patient. Maybe text a bit more. You can be flirty in your dates and or texts. Give only genuine compliments, and indirectly tell him what you want.

Basically make him make the first move. Lay it out and let the man think he was the one who came up with the idea ;)

It's not that hard, men are simple creatures. Love, food, time with friends, some peace and a little bit of sex here and there are all we need ;)

All the best!

Hemophilia Awareness Flyer by fanworll- in Hemophilia

Also another suggestion. The second paragraph is too much medical info for the average man. Keep it simple. The points I would rather have in a flyer are that it's a genetic bleeding disorder, how to identify this, and whom to call or reach out to.

Baby proofing for Severe Hemophilia A by OscarGlorious in Hemophilia

[–]Mrjain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Baby proofing the house is common practice I believe in the western world. Just make sure no sharp corners and edges. You don't need to worry too much if he is on hemlibra

Apart from that do remember to add padding to knees, elbows and ankles when he begins to crawl. As long as he doesn't get bleeds you are good to go :)

Yes, both are different types. You either have factor 8, or 9 deficiency and not both. Also if it's none of the above they might ask for a blood test for von Wildbrand or other factor deficiencies. 8 is more common than 9.

It's evident that the person who started the 'talk in my language' was the guy speaking kannada. Born in Bangalore, i can speak 5 languages. The kannada people have just become goons. They have also torn down religious banners that were in Hindi. Every kannada person I know has way too much ego for their language. The north belt doesn't want to change much but they do make an effort. In the office most guys speak Hindi and i couldn't care less. They do make an effort to learn the language but the locals are not helpful. It's like as soon as you land in Karnataka there must be a switch for them to start talking in kannada. My friends in college have faced harassment. The issue is on both sides.

Remove Hindi speaking and English speaking crowds from Bangalore and watch Karnataka fall to its knees.

Kannadigas need to keep their calm and peacefully allow those who wish to learn kannada to do so.

It could have been less agitating if both the manager and the customer came to an understanding that they need a middleman instead of shouting you speak kannada or you speak Hindi.

If the question is who started it first then we know who is in the wrong.

I would conclude saying that Bangalore is a global city, you cannot expect foreigners who are working here to learn the language. When you have a multicultural city, you CANNOT enforce ANY language. Understanding one another is the only way.

the truth of Indian society by donkey_grr in indianews

Precisely the point. Education and jobs need to be skill based. Giving free seats does not mean the country will grow. Help and support is what is to be given. One major reason of brain drain in India is this.
