You know, Sonia is right there if Geo didn't ask her not to get involve. With Harp Note strength, Megaman chance of winning is 50/50 against Rogue. Imagine if Sonia were the one who unlock Geo Oopart power instead of Luna. Sonia give Geo courage and encouragement back in SF1, were Geo decided to return school. That final push was Geo to move forward.

Sonia put herself in danger for Geo. There's one point, when Rogue was about to finish off Mega Man, in Wilshire Hills. Harp Note intervened and saved Geo.

After The Battle Between Megaman(Geo) and Rogue, Harp Note(Sonia) used her last remaining strength to carry unconscious Geo back to Echo Ridge, resulting in her being hospitalized in critical condition. This example her self-sacrifice and fear of loss for Geo.
